1. Introduktion

2. Sikkerhedsinstruktioner
To ensure safe operation and prolong the life of your device, observe the following safety precautions:
- Always connect the power supply to a properly grounded electrical outlet.

- Avoid exposing the unit to direct sunlight or high temperatures.

- Before connecting or disconnecting loads, ensure the output is turned off using the output button.

Komponenter på frontpanelet:
- Udgang Voltage Display: Viser den aktuelle udgangsvolumentage i volt (V).
- Udgangsstrømvisning: Shows the current output current in Amperes (A).
- CV Indicator: Lyser, når strømforsyningen kører på konstant volum.tage -tilstand.
- CC Indicator: Lyser, når strømforsyningen er i konstant strømtilstand.
- Voltage Adjusting Knob: Used to set the output voltage. Press to switch between coarse and fine adjustment.
- Current Adjusting Knob: Used to set the output current limit. Press to switch between coarse and fine adjustment.
- Output knap: Slår strømudgangen til/fra.
- Output Negative Terminal (-): Connects to the negative side of the load.
- Jordterminal (GND): Connects to the chassis ground.
- Output Positive Terminal (+): Connects to the positive side of the load.
Bagpanelkomponenter:
- Afbryderen: Hovedafbryder til tænd/sluk for enheden.
- Køleventilator: Provides active cooling for internal components.
- AC strømindgang: Connects the power supply to the AC mains.

4. Opsætning
- Udpakning: Tag forsigtigt strømforsyningen og alt tilbehør ud af emballagen. Undersøg for tegn på skader.
- Placering: Place the unit on a stable, level surface with adequate space for ventilation, especially around the rear cooling fan.
- Strømtilslutning: Connect the provided AC power cord to the AC Power Input on the rear panel and then to a grounded 110V AC power outlet.
- Første gang tændt: Flip the main Power Switch on the rear panel to the 'ON' position. The LED display should illuminate.
- Udgangsforbindelse: Before connecting any load, ensure the front panel 'Output' button is in the OFF state (indicator light off). Connect your load to the output terminals using appropriate cables (e.g., the provided alligator clips). Connect the positive (+) terminal of the power supply to the positive side of your load, and the negative (-) terminal to the negative side. The ground (GND) terminal can be connected to the chassis ground of your circuit if required.
5. Betjeningsvejledning
5.1. Indstilling Voltage og Nuværende
The MDC01 features digital control technology for precise adjustment of voltage og nuværende.
- Coarse and Fine Adjustment: Voltage and Current adjusting knobs allow for both coarse and fine adjustments. Press the respective knob once to toggle between coarse (adjusting whole numbers) and fine (adjusting decimal places) adjustment modes. Rotate the knob to change the value.
- Indstilling Voltage: Rotate the Voltage adjusting knob to set the desired output voltage. The 4-digit LED display will show the set value.
- Indstilling af strømgrænse: Rotate the Current adjusting knob to set the maximum output current (current limit). This protects your load from excessive current. The 4-digit LED display will show the set value.

5.2. Konstant lydstyrketage (CV) and Constant Current (CC) Mode
The power supply automatically switches between Constant Voltage (CV) and Constant Current (CC) modes depending on the load and the set current limit.
- Constant Voltage (CV): When the load resistance is high, the output current is below the set current limit. The power supply maintains the set output voltage, and the CV indicator will be illuminated.
- Konstant strøm (CC): When the load resistance is low, causing the current to reach the set current limit, the power supply automatically switches to CC mode. It will then maintain the set current, and the output voltage will drop. The CC indicator will be illuminated. This protects the load from overcurrent.
5.3. Datahold-funktion
The MDC01 includes a data hold function to temporarily store a set of voltage og aktuelle værdier.
- To activate Data Hold: Press both the Voltage and Current adjusting knobs simultaneously for 3 seconds. The display will indicate that the values are held.
- To release Data Hold: Press both knobs simultaneously again for 3 seconds.
5.4. Udgangskontrol
Use the 'Output' button on the front panel to enable or disable the power output to your load. This allows you to set voltage and current parameters without immediately applying power to your circuit.

6. Vedligeholdelse
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and reliable operation of your power supply.
- Rensning: Afbryd strømforsyningen fra lysnettet før rengøring. Brug en blød, tør klud til at tørre ydersiden af. Brug ikke slibende rengøringsmidler eller opløsningsmidler.
- Ventilation: Regularly check that the cooling fan and ventilation openings are free from dust and obstructions. A built-in fan reduces operational noise and prolongs product life.
- Udskiftning af sikring: If the unit fails to power on, the fuse may need replacement. The fuse box is located on the rear panel. Disconnect the power cord, open the fuse box, and replace the fuse with one of the same type and rating (5A, 110V AC).

7. Fejlfinding
Hvis du støder på problemer med din strømforsyning, kan du se følgende almindelige problemer og løsninger:
- Ingen strøm:
- Check if the rear power switch is ON.
- Verify the AC power cord is securely connected to both the unit and the wall outlet.
- Check the fuse in the rear fuse box and replace if blown (refer to Maintenance section).
- No Output Voltage/aktuel:
- Ensure the front panel 'Output' button is pressed (indicator light ON).
- Kontroller, at voltage and current limit settings are not set to zero.
- Check for short circuits in your load. The power supply may be in CC mode with very low voltage output if a short is present.
- Ensure the load is correctly connected to the output terminals.
- Upræcise læsninger:
- Compare readings with a calibrated multimeter. Small discrepancies may occur due to display resolution.
- Ensure proper connection of test leads to the load and power supply.
- Overophedning:
- Ensure the cooling fan and vents are not obstructed.
- Reduce the load or operating time if the unit frequently triggers thermal protection.
