1. Introduktion

This manual provides essential instructions for the safe installation, operation, and maintenance of your ELEGRP 15 Amp USB Wall Outlet. Please read this manual thoroughly before installation and retain it for future reference.

The ELEGRP USB Wall Outlet is designed to provide both standard AC power receptacles and convenient USB charging ports (Type A and Type C) in a single unit. It features tamper-resistant shutters for safety and a dedicated charging port controller for optimized device charging.

4. Specifikationer

5. Installation (Opsætning)

1. Sluk for strømmen: Locate the circuit breaker or fuse box controlling the outlet you intend to replace. Turn off the power to that circuit. Verify power is off using a voltage tester.
2. Fjern gammel stikkontakt: Unscrew and carefully remove the existing wall plate and outlet from the electrical box. Disconnect the wires from the old outlet, noting which wire connects to which terminal (hot, neutral, ground).
3. Forbered ledninger: If necessary, strip approximately 1/2 inch (12.7 mm) of insulation from the ends of the wires. Ensure wires are straight and free of nicks.
4. Tilslut ledninger: The ELEGRP USB Wall Outlet supports both side wiring and back wiring.
   • Grøn skrue: Connect the bare copper or green insulated ground wire to the green screw terminal.
   • Silver Screw: Connect the white (neutral) wire to the silver screw terminal.
   • Brass Screw: Connect the black (hot) wire to the brass screw terminal.

   Note: All screws are pre-loosened for easier installation.
5. Mount New Outlet: Carefully fold the wires into the electrical box. Insert the new ELEGRP USB Wall Outlet into the box and secure it with the provided mounting screws.

6.1 AC Receptacles

• Insert standard two-prong or three-prong plugs into the AC outlets.

• The total output for both USB ports is 4.2 Amps at 5V DC. When used individually, the Type C port can provide up to 3.0 Amps, and the Type A port up to 2.4 Amps.

8. Fejlfinding

• No Power to Outlet/USB Ports:
  • Check the circuit breaker or fuse box to ensure the power is on.
  • Verify that the wiring connections are secure and correct (refer to Section 5).
  • Ensure the device is properly plugged into the AC receptacle or USB port.
• Langsom USB-opladning:
  • Ensure your device and cable are compatible with fast charging.
  • If multiple devices are charging simultaneously, the total current is shared, which may reduce individual charging speeds.
