Opsætning

1. Attaching the Ball Head to a Support

The SmallRig Mini Ball Head offers two primary methods for attachment to a support system:

• Using the Cold Shoe Mount:
  1. Ensure the cold shoe adapter is securely attached to the base of the ball head.
  2. Slide the cold shoe mount into the hot shoe of your camera or the cold shoe slot of a cage or handle.
  3. Tighten the thumbscrew on the cold shoe mount to secure it in place.
• Using the 1/4"-20 Threaded Hole (after removing cold shoe):
  1. To remove the cold shoe adapter, use the included Allen wrench to loosen the screw located at the bottom of the cold shoe mount.
  2. Once the cold shoe adapter is removed, the 1/4"-20 threaded hole at the base of the ball head becomes accessible.
  3. Screw the ball head onto a mini tripod, monopod, or any support with a 1/4"-20 screw. Ensure it is hand-tightened securely. For additional security, use the Allen wrench in the built-in slots on the locking plate.

2. Attaching Equipment to the Ball Head

The top of the ball head features a standard 1/4" male thread for attaching your equipment.

• Screw your camera, monitor, LED light, microphone, or other accessory onto the 1/4" male thread on the top of the ball head.
• Rotate your equipment clockwise until it is finger-tight.

Operation

The SmallRig Mini Ball Head allows for precise positioning of your attached equipment.
