Indledning

The HENEX HC-3208R is a versatile 2-in-1 barcode scanner offering both USB wired and 2.4GHz wireless connectivity. It features an integrated LCD screen for real-time data display and management, supporting a wide range of 1D and 2D barcodes from both paper and digital screens. Designed for efficiency, it includes a charging base, a long-lasting battery, and substantial offline storage capacity, making it suitable for various professional environments.

Opsætning

Tilslutning af scanneren

The HC-3208R scanner supports two primary connection methods: wired USB and 2.4GHz wireless. No specific drivers are required for installation.

Kablet forbindelse:

1. Connect the USB cable to the scanner base.
2. Plug the other end of the USB cable into an available USB port on your computer or host device.
3. The scanner will be recognized as a standard input device.

2.4 GHz trådløs forbindelse:

1. Sørg for, at scanneren er opladet.
2. The scanner base acts as the wireless receiver. Connect the base to your computer via the USB cable.
3. The scanner and base should automatically pair. The LCD screen will indicate connection status.
4. The wireless transmission range is up to 50m in an obstacle-free environment.

Note: This scanner does not support Bluetooth connection.

The HC-3208R scanner offers two distinct data upload modes:

1. Instant Upload Mode:

In this mode, scanned barcode data is immediately transmitted to the connected device (computer, cash register, etc.). This is ideal for real-time inventory management or point-of-sale operations.

2. Storage Mode:

The scanner is equipped with 16MB of internal storage, capable of storing over 50,000 UPC/EAN barcodes. This mode is useful when working out of range of the host device or when batch processing is preferred. Data can be uploaded to the device when needed.

Opladning

The HC-3208R features an 1800mAh rechargeable high-capacity battery, providing extended operational time.

• Character Settings: Support for uppercase/lowercase settings and the ability to hide characters.

• Rensning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the scanner and base. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth with mild soap can be used, ensuring no liquid enters the device. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

• Batteripleje: For long-term storage, ensure the battery is partially charged (around 50%) to preserve its lifespan. Avoid fully discharging the battery for extended periods.
