1. Introduktion

This user manual provides detailed instructions for the setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your SmallRig Professional Smartphone Video Rig Kit. This kit is designed to enhance your mobile filmmaking, vlogging, and live streaming experience by providing stable support, improved audio, and adjustable lighting.

3. Opsætningsvejledning

Follow these steps to assemble your SmallRig Professional Smartphone Video Rig Kit.

3.1 Assembling the Phone Cage and Tripod

1. Attach the Universal Phone Cage to the Metal Tabletop Tripod. The phone cage features a 1/4"-20 screw hole at the bottom for tripod mounting. Secure it by rotating the cage onto the tripod's screw.
2. Adjust the tripod legs for stability. The tripod can be used in a folded handheld mode or with legs extended for tabletop use.

3.2 Installation af din smartphone

The Universal Phone Cage supports smartphones with a width range of 62mm to 86mm and a thickness within 17mm (0.67 inches).

1. Løsn telefonlåsenamp on the Universal Phone Cage.
2. Carefully insert your smartphone into the cage.
3. Tighten the phone clamp to secure your smartphone firmly in place. Ensure it is snug but do not overtighten.

3.3 Attaching Side Handles

The kit includes two side handles for improved grip and stability during handheld shooting.

1. Locate the attachment points on the sides of the Universal Phone Cage.
2. Slide each Side Handle into its respective attachment point and tighten the locking mechanism to secure them.

3.4 Mounting the LED Light

The Bi-color LED Light provides adjustable illumination for your shots.

1. Attach the LED Light to one of the cold shoe mounts located on the top or sides of the phone cage.
2. Ensure the LED light is securely fastened.

3.5 Connecting the Shotgun Microphone

The Shotgun Microphone enhances audio quality by focusing on sound in front of the camera.

1. Mount the Shotgun Microphone onto another available cold shoe mount on the phone cage.
2. Connect the microphone to your smartphone's audio input using the appropriate adapter (2-in-1 USB-C PD Fast Charging and Audio Adapter or Lightning to USB-C Adapter).
3. Use the Velcro Cable Ties to manage the microphone cable neatly.

3.6 Attaching the Power Bank Clamp (Valgfri)

The Power Bank Clamp allows you to attach a mobile power bank to the rig for extended shooting times.

1. Fastgør powerbanken Clamp to an available 1/4"-20 threaded hole on the phone cage.
2. Secure your power bank within the clamp. Klamp supports power banks 53mm to 81mm wide.
3. Connect your power bank to your smartphone using a suitable charging cable (not included).

4. Betjeningsvejledning

4.1 Brug af LED-lyset

• Tænd/sluk: Press and hold the power button on the LED light to turn it on or off.
• Justering af lysstyrke: Rotate the dial or press the brightness buttons (if available) to adjust the light intensity from 0% to 100%.
• Farvetemperaturjustering: Rotate the color temperature dial or press the corresponding buttons to change the color temperature between 2700K (warm light) and 6500K (cold light).
• Opladning: Connect the LED light to a USB power source using the included USB Type-C cable. A full charge provides approximately 105 minutes of operation at maximum brightness.

4.2 Using the Shotgun Microphone

• The microphone is plug-and-play and does not require batteries. Ensure it is securely connected to your smartphone via the appropriate adapter.
• For optimal audio capture, ensure the microphone is pointed towards your subject. The cardioid pickup pattern minimizes background noise.

• Vandret tilstand: Ideal for cinematic video, landscape shots, and standard video calls.

5. Vedligeholdelse

• Rensning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the components. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Opbevaring: When not in use, store the kit in its provided carrying case to protect it from dust and damage. Keep it in a cool, dry place.
• Batteripleje (LED-lys): To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the LED light's battery frequently. Charge it regularly, even if not in use for extended periods.
