4. Opsætning og installation

Follow these steps to set up your REVOTECH Mini IP Camera:

1. Strømforsyning: Connect a 12V/2A DC power supply (not included) to the camera's power port.
2. Netværks forbindelse: Connect the camera to your network using an Ethernet cable via the RJ45 port. This camera uses a wired connection for stable performance.
3. Montering: Use the provided screws and the adjustable mounting brackets to secure the camera in your desired indoor location. A hammer and screwdriver are typically sufficient for installation.
4. Initial Configuration (IP Address): The camera's IP address is dynamic by default. You may need to use a camera searching utility or check your router's connected devices list to find its assigned IP address (often identified as "rtthread").

7. Netværksindstillinger: In the Network section, under Basic settings, it is recommended to uncheck options that might cause the IP address to change frequently if you prefer a static setup.
8. User Account Creation: For enhanced security, create a standard user account with a unique username and password in the System > User section of the camera's web interface.

5. Betjening

Once your camera is set up, you can begin monitoring using the dedicated applications:

5.1. Mobile App (NVSEE Int 'I)

Download the "NVSEE Int 'I" app from your smartphone's app store (iOS or Android). The app supports P2P Cloud Function, allowing you to view live video and playback remotely from anywhere.

5.2. CMS Software (Windows)

For Windows computers, use the CMS software. This software provides a comprehensive interface for managing multiple cameras, viewing live feeds, and accessing recordings. Note that this software is not compatible with MAC OS or Linux.

5.3. NVR/VMS Integration

The camera supports ONVIF protocol, allowing integration with compatible Network Video Recorders (NVRs) and Video Management Systems (VMS). For ONVIF compatibility, ensure the ONVIF port is set to 6688 and the RTSP port to 8554. These settings may need to be configured within your NVR/VMS software.

5.4. Motion Detection and Email Alarm

Configure motion detection settings and email alarm functions through the camera's web interface or the NVSEE app to receive alerts when activity is detected.
