2. Sikkerhedsoplysninger
To ensure safe operation and prevent damage to your equipment, please observe the following precautions:
- Maksimal nyttelast: Do not exceed the maximum payload of 10kg (22 lbs). Overloading can cause instability and damage to the head unit or camera.
- Sikker montering: Always ensure the head unit is securely mounted to a stable tripod and that the camera is firmly attached to the camera plate before operation.

3. Opsætning
3.1 Attaching the Head Unit to a Tripod
The NH30 head unit features a 75mm ball base for quick and secure attachment to compatible tripods. It also supports flat base mounting.
- Ensure your tripod is stable and its legs are fully extended and locked.
- Loosen the tripod's bowl clamp (if applicable) or flat base screw.
- Place the NH30 head unit onto the tripod's mounting platform, ensuring the 75mm ball or flat base is properly seated.
- Tighten the tripod's bowl clamp or flat base screw firmly to secure the head unit.

3.2 Attaching the Camera Plate
The NH30 comes with a sliding camera plate that is compatible with Manfrotto and Sachtler systems.
- Locate the camera plate release lever on the side of the head unit.
- Press the safety lock button and pull the release lever to unlock the camera plate receiver.
- Attach the camera plate to the bottom of your camera using the provided camera screw (1/4" or 3/8"). Ensure it is tightened securely.
- Slide the camera with the attached plate into the head unit's receiver until it clicks into place. Ensure the safety lock engages.
- Push the release lever back to the locked position. Gently tug on the camera to confirm it is securely mounted.

3.3 Attaching the Pan Handle
The pan handle provides precise control over pan and tilt movements.
- Locate the pan handle rosette on the side of the head unit.
- Insert the pan handle into the rosette.
- Tighten the pan handle locking knob until the handle is firmly secured in the desired position.
4. Betjening
4.1 Balancing the Camera (Counterbalance)
Proper counterbalance is crucial for smooth operation and preventing the camera from tipping. The NH30 offers a 0+5 step counterbalance system, supporting loads from 2kg to 10kg.
- With the camera mounted, release the tilt lock.
- Adjust the sliding camera plate forward or backward until the camera is balanced and remains stationary when tilted to any angle.
- If the camera still tips, adjust the counterbalance knob (usually a numbered dial) to increase or decrease the counterbalance force. Start from '0' and increase gradually until the camera is balanced.
4.2 Adjusting Pan and Tilt Drag
The NH30 features a metal layered unit drag mechanism for precise control over pan and tilt resistance.
- Locate the pan drag knob and tilt drag knob on the head unit.
- Rotate the knobs to increase or decrease the resistance for panning (horizontal movement) and tilting (vertical movement). Adjust to your preferred level for smooth, controlled shots.
4.3 Låsemekanismer
Use the pan and tilt locks to secure the camera in a fixed position.
- Pan Lock: Tighten the pan lock knob to prevent horizontal rotation.
- Vippelås: Tighten the tilt lock knob to prevent vertical movement.

5. Vedligeholdelse
Regular maintenance will prolong the life and performance of your NH30 head unit.
- Rensning: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the head unit after each use. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp en klud kan bruges, efterfulgt af øjeblikkelig tørring. Undgå skrappe kemikalier eller slibende rengøringsmidler.
