4. Opsætning

4.1. Placering

• Place the ice maker on a flat, stable surface capable of supporting its weight when full of ice and water.
• Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit. Maintain at least 5 inches (12.7 cm) of space from walls and other objects.

4.2. Vandtilslutning

The ice maker requires a continuous water supply and a drain.

1. Connect the provided water inlet hose to a potable water supply line (typically 1/2 inch NPT). Ensure a secure, leak-free connection.
2. Connect the other end of the water inlet hose to the water inlet port on the back of the ice maker.

5. Betjeningsvejledning

5.1. Kontrolpanel

The ice maker features an intuitive control panel with LED indicators for various functions, including water status and ice making.

5.2. Første opstart

1. Ensure all connections (water, drain, power) are secure.

3. Press the power button on the control panel to start the ice maker.
4. The machine will begin its ice making cycle, which typically takes 11 to 18 minutes per batch.

5.3. Adjusting Ice Cube Thickness

The ice cube thickness can be adjusted using the (+) or (-) buttons on the control panel. Thicker ice cubes generally take longer to produce.

5.4. Ice Production and Storage

The machine produces clear, hard cube-shaped ice, approximately 0.9'' x 0.9'' x 0.9'' in size. The storage bin can hold up to 24 lbs of ice. Note that the storage bin is insulated but not refrigerated, so ice will slowly melt over time. It is recommended to transfer ice to a freezer for long-term storage.

6. Vedligeholdelse

6.3. Descaling (Monthly/Quarterly)

Depending on water hardness, descaling may be required to remove mineral buildup.

1. Turn off and unplug the ice maker.
2. Drain all water from the reservoir.
3. Prepare a descaling solution according to the descaler product instructions (e.g., citric acid solution or commercial ice maker descaler).
