Opsætning
Installation af batteri
To install the battery, gently slide down the back cover of the walkie talkie. Connect the battery to the internal connector, ensuring correct polarity. Place the battery into the compartment and slide the cover back into place until it clicks securely.

Lanyard and Clip Attachment
Attach the provided lanyard to the designated loop on the walkie talkie for easy carrying around your neck. The belt clip can also be attached to the back for securing the device to your belt or pocket.

Earpiece and Mic Setup
For private conversations or hands-free operation, plug the earpiece and mic set into the 2.5mm Earpiece Jack located on the side of the walkie talkie. Ensure it is securely connected.

Betjeningsvejledning
Tænd/sluk og lydstyrkejustering
To power on the walkie talkie, rotate the Volume Knob clockwise. To power off, rotate it counter-clockwise until it clicks. Adjust the volume by rotating the knob further clockwise (increase) or counter-clockwise (decrease).
Channel Selection and Privacy Codes
To change channels, press the MENU button. Use the UP/DOWN arrows to select your desired channel (1-22). Press MENU again to set privacy codes (1-121 CTCSS/DCS codes) for more secure communication. All walkie talkies must be on the same channel and privacy code to communicate.

Push-to-Talk (PTT) and Call Function
To transmit your voice, press and hold the PTT button on the side of the walkie talkie while speaking. Release the button to listen. To send a call tone to other radios on the same channel, briefly press the CALL button.
iVOX Hands-Free Operation
The iVOX feature allows for voice-activated transmission without pressing the PTT button. To activate, enter the menu and select the iVOX setting. Adjust the sensitivity level as needed. This is ideal when your hands are occupied.
Tastaturlås/lås op
To prevent accidental changes to settings, long press the CALL/LOCK button to lock the keypad. A lock icon will appear on the display. To unlock, long press the CALL/LOCK button again until the icon disappears.
NOAA Vejr Alert
To access NOAA weather channels and alerts, press the NOAA/SCAN button. The walkie talkie will scan for available weather channels and provide real-time updates, ensuring you stay informed about weather conditions.

The effective range of the walkie talkies varies depending on terrain and obstructions. The maximum range is achieved in open, unobstructed areas.
