4. Opsætning og første brug

4.1 Opladning af enheden

The monitor comes with a built-in rechargeable 3.7V - 1000 mHA lithium polymer battery. Before first use, fully charge the device using the provided AC adapter. The battery life is approximately 2 years, with a charging capacity of up to 300 times.

4.2 Cuff Placement

1. Ensure your arm is bare or has thin clothing.
2. Place the cuff on your upper arm, approximately 1-2 cm above the elbow joint.
3. The air tube (if applicable, though this model is tubeless, ensure the sensor area is correctly positioned) should be aligned with the brachial artery on the inside of your arm.
4. Wrap the cuff snugly around your arm, but not too tightly.

4.3 GIMApp Installation and Bluetooth Pairing

The GIMA monitor is designed to connect with the GIMApp for smartphone integration, allowing you to track and manage your health data. The app is compatible with iOS 8 or later (e.g., iPhone 4S, iPhone 5/5C/5S, iPhone 6/6 Plus and newer) and Android 4.3 or later.

1. Download GIMApp: Søg efter "GIMApp" on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and install it on your smartphone.
2. Tilmelding: Open the GIMApp and complete the personal profile registrering.
3. Parring: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone. Turn on the GIMA Blood Pressure Monitor. In the GIMApp, navigate to the device pairing section. The app should detect the monitor. Select the device to pair.
4. New Measurement: Once paired, you can initiate new measurements directly from the app and view dine aflæsninger.

5. Betjeningsvejledning

5.1 Tage en måling

1. Sid behageligt med ryggen støttet og fødderne fladt på gulvet.

4. Select the desired user (User 1 or User 2) using the dedicated buttons.
5. The cuff will automatically inflate and then slowly deflate, taking the measurement.
6. Your systolic (SYS), diastolic (DIA) blood pressure, and pulse (Pul) will be displayed on the LCD screen.

5.2 Vis information

The 86x24 mm backlit LCD screen displays the following information:

• SYS: Systolisk blodtryk (mmHg)
• DAG: Diastolisk blodtryk (mmHg)
• Pul: Pulse Rate (beats per minute - bpm)

• Excessive Body Motion Detection: An icon will appear if excessive movement is detected during measurement, which may affect accuracy.

5.3 Hukommelsesfunktion

The device stores measurements for two users. Use the 'Interrogation' button to review past readings for the selected user.

6. Vedligeholdelse

• Clean the device and cuff with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse in water.

  • If previously paired, try unpairing and re-pairing the device through your phone's Bluetooth settings and the GIMApp.
  • Move closer to the device to ensure a strong Bluetooth signal.
