This product includes the necessary metallic fittings to attach a top case to your motorcycle. To complete the installation and mount a top case, you will also require a mounting plate, which is typically included with Shad top cases (with the exception of TR48/TR37 models).

The Shad Top Master fitting is compatible with the following Shad mounting plates:

• Small mounting plate (D1B29PA)
• Medium mounting plate (D1B40PA)
• Big mounting plate (D1B591PA)

Important Note: This top fitting is NOT compatible with aluminum mounting plates.

3. Installationsvejledning

Follow these instructions carefully to ensure proper and secure installation of the Shad Top Master fitting kit on your Super SOCO CPX Electric '20 motorcycle. It is recommended to have basic mechanical tools available.

3.1. Forberedelse

1. Ensure the motorcycle is stable and turned off.
2. Identify the designated mounting points on the rear of your Super SOCO CPX Electric '20. Refer to your motorcycle's owner's manual if necessary.
3. Unpack all components of the Shad Top Master fitting kit and verify all parts are present according to the included parts list (not provided in this manual, refer to product packaging).

3.2. Mounting the Fitting

1. Align the Shad Top Master metallic brackets with the pre-drilled holes on the motorcycle's rear frame or luggage rack area.
2. Secure the brackets using the provided fasteners. Do not fully tighten bolts until all components are loosely in place.
3. Once all brackets are aligned and loosely fastened, progressively tighten all bolts evenly to ensure a secure and stable fit. Refer to the torque specifications if provided with the kit.
4. Verify that the fitting is firmly attached and does not wobble.

3.3. Attaching the Top Case Plate

After the Top Master fitting is securely installed, you can attach your compatible Shad mounting plate (D1B29PA, D1B40PA, or D1B591PA) to the fitting. The plate typically slides onto or bolts directly to the Top Master fitting. Follow the instructions provided with your specific Shad top case and mounting plate for this step.

4. Operating the Top Case System

Once the Shad Top Master fitting and the compatible mounting plate are installed, you can attach and detach your Shad top case. Most Shad top cases feature a quick-release mechanism.

• Attaching the Top Case: Align the top case with the mounting plate and press down firmly until you hear a click, indicating it is securely locked. Always double-check that the case is firmly attached before riding.
• Detaching the Top Case: Use the key to unlock the top case from the plate. Typically, there is a lever or button that, when pressed, allows the case to be lifted off the plate.

Ensure the top case is properly closed and locked before each ride to prevent accidental opening or loss of contents.

Regular maintenance of your Shad Top Master fitting will ensure its longevity and continued safe operation.

• Rensning: Clean the fitting regularly with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the powder-coated finish.
• Inspektion: Periodically inspect all bolts and fasteners for tightness. Vibrations from riding can sometimes loosen connections. Re-tighten any loose fasteners to the appropriate torque.
• Skadetjek: Check the metallic components for any signs of corrosion, cracks, or deformation. If any damage is observed, discontinue use and contact Shad support for replacement parts or advice.
