1. Introduktion

This manual provides instructions for the ABLEWE USB 3.0 Switch, Model USB-3.0-CS-4NW. This device allows two computers to share up to four USB 3.0 peripheral devices, such as printers, scanners, mice, and keyboards, by switching between the two connected computers with a single button press.

3. Produktet er slutview

The ABLEWE USB 3.0 Switch features two input ports for connecting to computers and four output ports for connecting USB peripheral devices. A central button allows for easy switching between the connected computers, indicated by LED lights.

• Micro USB 5V Power Supply Interface: For optional external power when using high-power USB devices.
• USB-indgangsporte (x2): Connect to your two computers using the provided USB 3.0 cables.
• Skift knap: Press to toggle between the two connected computers.
• USB-udgangsporte (x4): Connect your USB peripheral devices (e.g., keyboard, mouse, printer).

4. Opsætningsvejledning

1. Tilslut computere: Use the two provided USB 3.0 data cables to connect the "Input" ports on the ABLEWE USB 3.0 Switch to the USB ports on your two computers (PC1 and PC2).
2. Tilslut USB-enheder: Plug your USB peripheral devices (e.g., keyboard, mouse, printer, scanner, USB drive) into the four "Output" ports on the switch.
3. Ekstern strømforsyning (ekstraudstyr): If you are connecting high-power USB devices (such as external hard drives, digital video cameras, or SSDs), connect a standard DC 5V USB power adapter (not included) to the Micro USB 5V Power Supply Interface on the switch. Ensure the adapter provides 5V; higher voltage output is not permitted and may affect the product performance.
4. Tænd: Ensure both connected computers are powered on. The switch is plug-and-play and does not require driver installation.

5. Betjeningsvejledning

To switch control of the connected USB devices between your two computers:

• Tryk på den centrale Skift knap on the top of the device.
• The LED indicator will change color (Green or Blue) to show which computer is currently active and has control of the USB devices.
• Allow a few seconds for the operating system of the newly active computer to detect and enable the USB devices.

The ABLEWE USB 3.0 Switch is driver-free and compatible with a wide range of operating systems:

7. Important Notes and Troubleshooting

• Manuel skift: This USB switch does not automatically switch between computers. Switching is performed manually via the button.
• Kabelanvendelse: Always use the provided 1-meter USB 3.0 cables to connect the switch to your computers to ensure optimal performance.
• Ekstern strøm: For high-power USB devices (e.g., HDDs, SSDs, digital video cameras), an external 5V DC power adapter (not included) is required. Using a charger with a higher voltage output is not recommended and may damage the product or affect performance.
• Trådløse enheder: 2.4GHz wireless devices (e.g., Wi-Fi, wireless keyboard/mouse adapters) may experience interference when in close proximity to USB 3.0 devices or hubs. If issues occur, try using a host port directly on the computer or a USB 2.0 connection for the wireless receiver.
• Delayed Device Detection: After switching, there may be a brief delay (a few seconds) as the operating system detects and initializes the USB devices. This is normal behavior.
