Opsætning og første brug

Before first use, wash all components of the Sistema Microwave Rice Cooker and Steamer Bowl set in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. The containers are also top-rack dishwasher safe.

Betjeningsvejledning

Cooking Rice (2.6L Rice Cooker)

1. Tilsæt ris og vand: Place your desired amount of rice into the 2.6L Rice Cooker. Add the appropriate amount of water according to your rice type's instructions (e.g., 1 cup rice to 2 cups water for many varieties). You may also add a small amount of butter or oil if desired.
2. Insert Pressure Chamber Plate: Place the pressure chamber plate over the rice and water. This plate helps ensure even cooking and moist, fluffy rice.

As a general guideline, cook for 5-10 minutes on high power, then reduce power to 50% and continue cooking for 15-20 minutes, or until water is absorbed and rice is tender.
5. Hvile: Once cooking is complete, carefully remove the rice cooker from the microwave (use oven mitts as it will be hot). Let it stand for 5 minutes with the lid on to allow the rice to finish steaming.
6. Tjene: Open the clips, remove the lid and pressure chamber plate, and fluff the rice with the included non-stick rice spoon before serving.

Steaming Vegetables (915ml Round Container)

1. Add Vegetables: Place fresh or frozen vegetables into the 915ml Microwave Round Container.
2. Add Water (Optional): For fresh vegetables, add a small amount of water (e.g., 1-2 tablespoons) to the bottom of the container to aid in steaming. For most frozen vegetables, additional water is not necessary as they contain enough moisture.

4. Mikrobølgeovn: Microwave on high power until vegetables are tender-crisp. Cooking times will vary based on the type and quantity of vegetables. Start with 2-3 minutes for most vegetables and add more time in 30-second increments if needed.
5. Tjene: Carefully remove from the microwave and serve.

Vedligeholdelse og pleje

• Rensning: All components are top-rack dishwasher safe. For hand washing, use warm, soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge or cloth.
• Opbevaring: The smaller 915ml container can be nested inside the 2.6L rice cooker for compact storage. Ensure all parts are dry before storing.
