1. Opsætning

1.1 Pakkens indhold

1.2 Opladning af enheden

The MEILAN Blade M4 features an 80-hour battery life. Before first use, fully charge the device using the provided USB cable.

1.3 Installing the Mount

The MEILAN Blade M4 can be installed on either the bike stem or handlebar using the provided mounts. Select the appropriate rubber bands for your bike's stem or handlebar size.

Stem/Handlebar Mount Installation:

Use the rubber bands to diagonally secure the bike mount to your stem or handlebar. Ensure it is firmly fixed.

F-Mount Installation:

The F-Mount provides an out-front mounting option. Use the Allen key to secure it to your handlebar. Ensure the mount is stable before attaching the computer.

1.4 Installing Speed and Cadence Sensor (C3)

The C3 sensor can function as either a speed or cadence sensor. Remove the battery insulator sheet before first use. Loosen the sensor arm screw with a Phillips screwdriver to adjust its position.

• Kadencesensor: Attach the sensor to the chain stay using rubber bands or nylon ties. Secure the cadence magnet to the pedal crank. Adjust the sensor position so the cadence magnet passes through the sensor zone labeled 'CADENCE'.
• Hastighedssensor: Attach the spoke magnet to a spoke. Adjust the sensor arm so the spoke magnet passes through the sensor zone labeled 'SPEED'.

Ensure the gap between the sensor and the corresponding magnet does not exceed 2 cm (0.79 inches) for accurate readings. Tighten all ties firmly.

1.5 Initial Setup and Pairing with App

For optimal functionality, download the Navihood app (available on App Store and Google Play). Register an account and allow Bluetooth access.

Power on the Blade M4. In the Navihood app, tap “+ Add device” and select “BLADE”. The app will search for and connect to your device. Once connected, you can configure settings such as wheel circumference and rename sensors for easy identification.

2. Operating Your MEILAN Blade M4

2.1 Grundlæggende kontroller

The Blade M4 features three buttons for navigation and control:

• Venstre knap: Scroll forwards through functions/data.
• Midterste knap: Start/pause recording, change data, confirm settings.
• Højre knap: Scroll backwards through functions/data, exit history view.

2.2 Vis information

The 2.5-inch anti-glare screen displays up to 16 kinds of data, including current speed, cadence, heart rate, power, distance, time, temperature, and calories. The white backlight is adjustable for clear visibility in various lighting conditions.

2.3 Start og afslutning af en tur

To start recording your ride, press the middle button. The device has an automatic Start/Stop function, so manual pausing is generally not required for short stops. However, if you manually pause, you must manually restart to continue recording.

After your ride, long press the middle button to save the data. Press the right button to exit the history view.

2.4 Viewing Ride History

Det kan du view your ride history directly on the Blade M4 or through the Navihood app.

• På enheden: Long press the right button to enter or exit history view. Use the middle button to check different measurement data in the record you are viewing. Use the left button to check segment data (lap). Use the right button to scroll to the next record.
• On App: Your ride data will automatically synchronize and upload to the Navihood app, allowing you to conveniently view and analyze your data.

3. Vedligeholdelse

3.1 Rengøring

Wipe the device and sensors with a soft, damp klud. Undgå at bruge skrappe kemikalier eller slibende rengøringsmidler, da disse kan beskadige skærmen ellerasing. Ensure the USB port cover is securely closed to maintain water resistance.

3.2 Pleje af batterier

To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the device frequently. Recharge the device when the battery indicator is low. Store the device in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods.

3.3 Sensorpleje

Regularly check the alignment of the speed and cadence magnets with the sensor. Ensure the sensor and magnets are firmly fixed to prevent movement during rides. Clean the sensor and magnets periodically to remove dirt or debris that could interfere with readings.

4. Fejlfinding

• Enheden tænder ikke: Ensure the device is fully charged. If it still doesn't power on, contact customer support.
• Sensoren parres ikke:
1. Ensure the battery insulator sheet has been removed from the sensor.
2. Rotate the wheel or pedal to activate the sensor.
3. Check the distance between the sensor and magnets (should be within 2 cm / 0.79 inches).
4. If pairing issues persist, contact the seller for a software upgrade.
• Unøjagtige aflæsninger: Verify the sensor and magnet alignment. Ensure the wheel circumference setting in the app is correct.
• Device not suitable for certain bikes: The BLADE is not recommended for spin bikes, indoor sports bikes, indoor bikes, or some bikes with larger flat-fork spans or short cranks.
• Problemer med app-forbindelse: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone and the Navihood app has necessary permissions. Try restarting both the device and the app.
