5. Opsætning og installation

Your AEGIS Safe Box comes ready for use, but for enhanced security, it is recommended to bolt it down to a floor or wall.

5.1 Batteriinstallation

1. Open the safe door using the emergency key (if not already open).

5.2 Securing the Safe (Optional but Recommended)

6. Betjeningsvejledning

6.1 Setting Your Personal PIN Code

1. With the safe door open, press the "RESET" button located on the inside of the door (usually near the hinge or battery compartment). The keypad will beep, and the "PASS" light will illuminate.

3. Press the "LOCK" button to confirm. The keypad will beep again, and the "PASS" light will flash, indicating successful programming.
4. Test your new PIN code with the door open before closing it.

6.2 Opening the Safe with PIN Code

2. Press the "LOCK" button. The "PASS" light will illuminate.

6.3 Brug af nødnøgler

In case of forgotten PIN, dead batteries, or electronic malfunction, the emergency keys can be used:

1. Locate the emergency keyhole, usually hidden behind a small cover on the keypad panel. Slide the cover to reveal the keyhole.

3. While holding the key turned, rotate the main knob clockwise to open the safe door.
4. Once open, you can replace the batteries or reset the PIN code.

6.4 Emergency Power via Type-C Port

If the batteries are completely dead and you cannot locate your emergency keys, you can power the keypad externally:

1. Connect a Type-C USB cable from a power bank (not included) to the Type-C port on the keypad panel.
2. The keypad will power on. Enter your PIN code as usual.
3. Once the safe is open, replace the internal batteries immediately.
