The Caso 1296 Vacuum Sealer Foil Rolls are designed to extend the freshness of your food by up to 8 times longer, naturally, without the need for preservatives. These transparent rolls are ideal for storing fresh meat, fruits, or vegetables in the refrigerator or freezer, helping to retain vitamins and minerals while providing excellent protection against freezer burn and loss of aroma.

The foil material is highly durable and tear-resistant, featuring a thickness of approximately 105 µm, which helps prevent penetration by sharp objects like bones. Its fine ribbed structure and stable welded seam ensure an optimal and consistent vacuum seal. These professional films are versatile, being reusable (dishwasher-safe), boil-proof, and suitable for microwave use. They are also ideal for Sous Vide cooking.

For enhanced food management, the Caso 1296 foil rolls are compatible with the free CASO Food Manager App for Android and iOS. This app allows you to manage your food and supplies, providing a clear list of foodstuffs and simplifying stock control during shopping.

The foil rolls are compatible with all Caso vacuum sealers, as well as other brands including FreshVAC, WMF, Rommelsbacher, LAICA, Gastroback, Foodsaver, Solis, Steba, Lava, Ohmex, and Flame Nuova.

Opsætning og forberedelse

Before vacuum sealing, ensure your vacuum sealer is clean and in good working order. The Caso 1296 foil rolls allow you to create custom-sized bags to suit your needs.

  1. Unroll and Cut: Unroll the desired length of foil from the roll. Consider the size of the item you wish to seal, allowing extra length for both the initial seal and the final vacuum seal.
  2. Seal One End: Place one end of the cut foil into your vacuum sealer's sealing area. Activate the sealing function to create a strong, airtight bottom seam for your bag. Ensure the seal is straight and complete.

Betjeningsvejledning

Once your custom bag is prepared with one sealed end, you can proceed with vacuum sealing your food items.

  1. Indsæt mad: Place the food item(s) into the open end of the bag. Ensure there is sufficient space (at least 2-3 inches) between the food and the open end of the bag to allow for proper vacuuming and sealing. Avoid overfilling.
  2. Rengør forseglingsområde: Make sure the inside of the bag's open end is clean and dry. Any moisture, food particles, or grease can compromise the seal.
  3. Støvsug og forsegling: Place the open end of the bag into your vacuum sealer's vacuum chamber/sealing bar. Close the lid and activate the vacuum and seal function according to your specific vacuum sealer's instructions. The machine will remove air from the bag and then create a strong, permanent seal.
  4. Inspekter forsegling: After the process is complete, inspect the sealed seam to ensure it is clear, straight, and free of wrinkles or gaps. A good seal is crucial for maintaining the vacuum.

Fejlfinding

If you encounter issues while using your Caso 1296 foil rolls, consider the following common problems and solutions:
