The Wortex Chipper D200 L wood chipper is engineered for efficient maintenance of parks, gardens, and various green spaces. Designed to handle demanding tasks, it consistently grinds wood with a maximum diameter of 80 mm. This robust machine is powered by a Loncin G 200 6.5 HP gasoline engine.

Its grinding system features a solid, reinforced roller equipped with double blades and a 150 mm anvil, ensuring precise cuts up to 80 mm. A protective belt transmission system enhances machine longevity. For user safety, an emergency lever at the material inlet provides an immediate stop function. Portability is facilitated by two 10-inch pneumatic wheels and a comfortable rounded handle.

2. Sikkerhedsoplysninger

WARNING: Read and understand all safety warnings and instructions before operating this product. Failure to follow the warnings and instructions may result in serious injury.

• This product contains moving parts that can cause severe injury. Always operate with extreme caution and strictly adhere to all instructions provided in this manual.
• The use of gasoline-based fuel produces carbon monoxide, a colorless and odorless gas that can be fatal. Always operate the wood chipper in a well-ventilated outdoor area. Never operate indoors or in enclosed spaces.
• This product is heavy (approximately 175 kg). Exercise extreme care when handling and moving the unit. Follow proper lifting and storage procedures to prevent injury.
• Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) during operation, including safety glasses or goggles, hearing protection, and heavy-duty gloves.
• Keep hands, feet, and clothing away from all moving parts, especially the input and discharge chutes, during operation.
• Ensure the emergency stop lever is easily accessible and functional before each use.

3. Opsætning og montering

3.1 Udpakning

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Inspect for any shipping damage. Retain packaging materials for future storage or transport if needed.

3.2 Wheel and Handle Assembly

1. Attach the two 10-inch pneumatic wheels to the axle using the provided hardware. Ensure they are securely fastened.
2. Mount the rounded handle to the designated points on the frame. Tighten all bolts firmly.

3.3 Kontroller før drift

• Motorolie: Check the engine oil level using the dipstick. Add recommended engine oil if necessary, ensuring it is at the proper level.

• Blade: Inspect the cutting blades for sharpness and damage. Replace or sharpen if needed.

4. Betjeningsvejledning

4.1 Start af motoren

1. Ensure the wood chipper is on a stable, level surface.
2. Åbn brændstofventilen.
3. Set the choke lever to the 'CHOKE' position (for cold starts).
4. Flyt gashåndtaget til 'HURTIG'-positionen.
5. Træk fast i snorstarterhåndtaget, indtil motoren starter.
6. Når motoren starter, skal du gradvist flytte chokerhåndtaget til 'RUN'-positionen, efterhånden som motoren varmer op.

4.2 Fodermateriale

Only feed organic material such as branches, brushwood, and logs into the input chute. Do not feed metal, rocks, plastic, or other non-organic materials.

1. Ensure the discharge chute is clear and directed away from people, animals, and structures.
2. Feed material slowly and steadily into the input chute. Do not force material.
3. Maintain a safe distance from the opening of the chute. Use a push stick if necessary for smaller pieces.
4. The maximum recommended branch diameter is 80 mm (3.15 inches).

4.3 Nødstop

In case of an emergency or jam, immediately push the emergency stop lever located at the material inlet. This will quickly halt the machine's operation.

4.4 Nedlukning

1. Lad motoren gå i tomgang i et par minutter for at køle af.
2. Flyt gashåndtaget til 'STOP'- eller 'OFF'-positionen.
3. Luk brændstofventilen.
4. Allow the machine to cool completely before cleaning or storage.

5. Vedligeholdelse

Regular maintenance is crucial for the longevity and safe operation of your Wortex wood chipper.

5.1 Rengøring

• After each use, clear any debris from the input and discharge chutes.
• Rengør maskinens ydre med adamp cloth. Do not use high-pressure washers directly on the engine or electrical components.

5.2 Blade Inspection and Sharpening

• Regularly inspect the cutting blades for dullness, nicks, or damage.
• Dull blades reduce chipping efficiency and can strain the engine. Sharpen or replace blades as needed. Refer to the engine manual for specific blade removal and installation instructions.

5.3 Motorvedligeholdelse

• Olieskift: Change the engine oil after the first 5 hours of use, then every 25-50 hours or annually, whichever comes first.
• Luftfilter: Rengør eller udskift luftfilteret regelmæssigt, især i støvede forhold.

5.4 Reminspektion

Check the drive belt for wear, cracks, or proper tension periodically. Adjust or replace if necessary.

When storing the wood chipper for extended periods, drain the fuel tank or use a fuel stabilizer. Store in a dry, protected area.
