4. Opsætning og første brug

5. Betjeningsvejledning
5.1. Brygning af kaffe
- Fyld vandbeholder: Open the lid and fill the water reservoir with fresh, cold water to the desired level, corresponding to the number of cups you wish to brew. Do not exceed the MAX fill line.
- Tilsæt kaffegrums: Place a standard paper filter (cone or basket type, depending on your model) into the filter basket, or use the permanent filter. Add the desired amount of ground coffee. A general guideline is one level tablespoon of ground coffee per cup. Adjust to taste.
- Position Karaffel: Ensure the carafe is correctly placed on the warming plate.
- Begynd at brygge: Plug the coffee maker into a grounded electrical outlet. Press the power button (or brew button) to begin the brewing cycle. The indicator light will illuminate.
- Servering: Once the brewing cycle is complete, the coffee maker will automatically switch to the "keep warm" function. You can remove the carafe to pour coffee. The warming plate will keep the coffee hot for a set period (e.g., 30 minutes to 2 hours, depending on the model).
- Sluk: After serving, press the power button again to turn off the coffee maker and unplug it from the outlet.
5.2. Using the Timer Function (if applicable)

6.2. Descaling (Mineral Deposit Removal)
Mineral deposits (limescale) can build up in your coffee maker over time, affecting performance and taste. Descale your coffee maker every 2-3 months, or more frequently if you have hard water.
- Forbered afkalkningsopløsning: Mix 4 cups of white vinegar with 2 cups of cold water. Alternatively, use a commercially available descaling solution designed for coffee makers, following its instructions.
- Kør halvcyklus: Pour the solution into the water reservoir. Place an empty filter (no coffee) in the filter basket and the carafe on the warming plate. Turn on the coffee maker and let half of the solution brew through.
