4. Opsætning
Before first use, ensure the chainsaw is properly assembled and prepared.

- Batteri installation:
- Sørg for, at batteriet er fuldt opladet før brug.
- Juster batteriet med batterirummet på værktøjet.
- Skub batteriet ind i batterirummet, indtil det klikker sikkert på plads.

- Chain and Guide Bar Assembly (if not pre-assembled):
- Place the chain around the guide bar, ensuring the cutting edges are facing the correct direction (refer to markings on the chain or guide bar).
- Fit the guide bar and chain onto the chainsaw body, engaging the drive sprocket.
- Install the side cover and tighten the retaining nuts/screws loosely.
- Kædespænding:
- Adjust the chain tension using the tensioning screw/knob. The chain should be snug against the guide bar but still able to be pulled freely by hand.
- A properly tensioned chain will not sag on the underside of the guide bar and can be pulled away from the bar by about 2-3 mm at the center.
- Once tension is correct, fully tighten the side cover retaining nuts/screws.

- Fill the oil reservoir (if present) with appropriate chain lubricant. If no automatic oiler, manually apply chain oil to the guide bar groove and chain before each use and periodically during operation.
- The provided oil bottle is for manual application.

- Start af motorsaven:
- Ensure you have a firm grip on the handle.

- Cross-cutting: For cutting across the grain of wood. Ensure the workpiece is stable and supported.
