Opsætning
Installation af batteri
The SMARTRO SC42 requires 2 x 1.5V AAA batteries (not included). To install, slide open the battery compartment cover located on the back of the device. Insert the batteries according to the polarity markings (+/-) and close the cover securely.

Displayfunktioner
The 3.5-inch large HD LCD screen provides clear and easy-to-read digits. The display updates readings every 10 seconds.
- Current Temperature & Humidity: Large digits show the real-time temperature and humidity.
- 24-Hour Max/Min Records: Displays the highest and lowest temperature and humidity recorded over the past 24 hours.
- All-Time Max/Min Records: Shows the highest and lowest temperature and humidity recorded since the last reset or battery installation.
- Trendpile: Arrows indicate whether temperature and humidity are rising, falling, or remaining stable.
- Komfortindikator: A colored bar (LOW, OK, HIGH) visually represents the current humidity comfort level.
- LOW: Humidity < 30%
- OK: 30% < Humidity < 50%
- HIGH: Humidity > 50%

Baggrundsbelysningsfunktion
A simple touch on the top of the device will activate the backlight for 10 seconds, improving readability in low-light conditions. The backlight is not always on to conserve battery life.

Temperature Unit Switching (°F/°C)
Use the °C/°F button on the back of the device to switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius temperature units.
Resetting Max/Min Records
The 24-hour and All-time Max/Min records will automatically reset when batteries are installed or replaced. To manually clear the records, press and hold the "UP" button in normal mode.
Kalibrering
The temperature and humidity readings can be manually calibrated to improve data accuracy, especially if product placement or environmental factors impact readings. This product is pre-calibrated from the factory, so no extra calibration is required before initial use.
To access calibration mode:
- Hold the "SET" button for 3 seconds. The humidity display will flash.
- Press "UP" or "DOWN" to correct the humidity display. "CALIBRATED" will appear on the display.
- Press "SET" to confirm the humidity setting. The temperature display will then flash.
- Press "UP" or "DOWN" to correct the temperature display. "CALIBRATED" will appear on the display.
- Press "SET" to confirm the temperature setting.
Note: 10 seconds of inactivity during setting will save adjustments and exit calibration mode. Calibrations will be erased if the batteries are removed.

Fejlfinding
- Ingen visning / Svag visning: Check if batteries are inserted correctly with proper polarity. Replace batteries if they are low or depleted.
- Upræcise læsninger: Ensure the device is not placed in direct sunlight, near heat sources (like appliances or vents), or in areas with extreme drafts, as these can affect sensor accuracy. Perform manual calibration if necessary.
