Follow these steps to set up your ELECABLE USB Data Transfer Cable:

1. Connect one end of the cable to a standard USB or USB-C port on your first computer.
2. Connect the other end of the cable to a standard USB or USB-C port on your second computer.
3. Allow Windows (or macOS) to automatically install the necessary device driver software on both computers. This process may take a few moments.
4. On Windows, if prompted to select an AutoPlay option, click the "Run SKLoader.exe" option.
5. If a "User Account Control" window appears, click "Yes" to proceed with the installation.
6. Once the installation is complete, the cable application will be ready for operation. A pop-up message indicating readiness may appear in the lower right corner of your screen.

4.1 Dataoverførsel

After successful setup, you can easily transfer files between the two connected computers. The cable creates a virtual link allowing you to drag and drop files directly between the two systems. Simply open the file explorer on both computers and drag the desired files from one to the other.

4.2 Keyboard and Mouse (KM) Switch Function

The cable enables you to use a single keyboard and mouse to control both connected computers. This is achieved through a "KM Switch" function:

• Musekontrol: Move your mouse cursor to the edge of the screen (left or right, depending on your setup). The cursor will seamlessly transition to the display of the second computer, allowing you to control it with the same mouse.
• Keyboard Control: The keyboard input will follow the mouse cursor. Whichever computer the mouse cursor is currently on will receive the keyboard input.
• Quick Switch Hotkey: For a quick and direct switch of control between computers, press the [Alt + S] keys on your keyboard. This hotkey activates the control switch, moving both keyboard and mouse control to the other connected computer.
