2. Opsætning
2.1 Udpakning og indhold
Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Please ensure all items are present:
- McGrey BS-88 Keyboard
- Strømadapter
- Sustain pedal
- Musikstander
- Brugervejledning (dette dokument)
2.2 Strømtilslutning
Connect the included power adapter to the DC 12V input jack on the rear panel of the keyboard. Plug the other end into a standard wall outlet. Ensure the power switch is in the 'OFF' position before connecting.
2.3 Tilslutning af sustainpedal
Insert the plug of the sustain pedal into the 'PEDAL' jack on the rear panel. The sustain pedal allows you to sustain notes, similar to a traditional piano.
2.4 Lydforbindelser
The BS-88 Keyboard offers various audio connectivity options:
- PHONES (Headphone Jack): Connect standard 3.5mm stereo headphones to this jack for private practice. Connecting headphones will mute the internal speakers.
- LYD UD: Use this 3.5mm jack to connect the keyboard to an external amplifier, mixer eller optageenhed.
- AUDIO IN: Connect an external audio source, such as a smartphone or MP3 player, to this 3.5mm jack. The audio from the external device will play through the keyboard's speakers.
2.5 USB/MIDI-forbindelse
The 'USB-MIDI' port allows you to connect the keyboard to a computer for MIDI data transfer. This enables you to use the keyboard as a MIDI controller with music software or to receive MIDI data from a computer.

3. Betjening
3.1 Power On/Off and Master Volume
Locate the 'POWER' switch and 'MASTER VOLUME' knob on the top left of the control panel.
- Magt: Flip the switch to 'ON' to power on the keyboard. Flip to 'OFF' to power off.
- Hovedvolumen: Rotate the 'MASTER VOLUME' knob clockwise to increase the overall volume and counter-clockwise to decrease it.

3.2 Sound Selection (Tones/Voices)
The keyboard features 146 different sounds. You can select sounds using the 'TIMBRE' buttons located on the control panel, or by entering a two-digit number using the keyboard keys (as indicated above the keys).
- Timbre Buttons: Press buttons like 'PIANO', 'E. PIANO', 'ORGAN', 'GUITAR', 'BASS', 'STRINGS', 'PERC' to quickly select common instrument categories.
- Numeric Selection: To select any of the 146 sounds, press the 'FUNCTION' button, then use the numbered keys (0-9) to enter the two-digit sound number. Refer to the sound list in the appendix (if provided in a full manual) for specific sound numbers.
3.3 Split, Dual, and Twinova Functions
These functions allow for enhanced playing possibilities:
- Opdelt funktion: Divides the keyboard into two sections, allowing different sounds to be played by the left and right hands. Press the 'SPLIT' button to activate/deactivate. The split point can usually be adjusted by holding 'SPLIT' and pressing a desired key.
- Dual/Layer Function: Layers two different sounds to be played simultaneously when a single key is pressed. Press the 'DUAL' button to activate/deactivate. You can select the two sounds to be layered.
- Twinova Function (Lesson Mode): Divides the keyboard into two identical pitch ranges, allowing two people to play the same melody simultaneously in the same octave. This is ideal for teaching. Activate this function via the 'LESSON' button.
3.4 Effects: Sustain and Vibrato
Enhance your sound with built-in effects:
- Oprethold: Press the 'SUSTAIN' button to apply a sustain effect to the notes, making them ring out longer. Press again to deactivate.
- Vibrato: Press the 'VIBRATO' button to add a slight pitch modulation to the sound, creating a wavering effect. Press again to deactivate.
3.5 Metronome and Tempo
The built-in metronome helps with rhythm practice:
- Metronom: Press the 'METRONOME' button to start the metronome. Press again to stop. You can select different time signatures (e.g., 2/4, 3/4, 4/4) by pressing 'FUNCTION' and the corresponding key.
- Tempo: Adjust the tempo (speed) of the metronome or demo songs using the '+' and '-' buttons, or by holding 'FUNCTION' and using the numeric keys.
3.6 Integrated Media Player (USB)
The keyboard features a built-in media player that can play MP3 files directly from a USB stick. Insert a USB stick containing MP3 files into the 'USB DISK' port on the rear panel. Use the 'RECORD', 'REC', 'PLAY' buttons on the control panel to manage playback. Refer to the specific instructions for media player controls in the full manual.

4. Vedligeholdelse
4.1 Rengøring
