• Verify that all bicycles are properly secured to the carrier using the provided straps and clamps.
• Check the carrier and bicycle security regularly during long journeys.
• Be aware of the increased length and width of your vehicle when the carrier and bicycles are attached, especially when turning or parking.
• Ensure rear lights and license plate are visible. If obstructed, use an auxiliary light board.
• Adjust driving speed according to road conditions and increased vehicle dimensions. Avoid sudden braking or sharp turns.
• The carrier is suitable for electric bicycles, but ensure their weight does not exceed the maximum load capacity.

4. Opsætning og montering

The EUFAB Crow Plus Bicycle Carrier is designed for quick and easy assembly. Follow these steps for initial setup and attachment to your vehicle's towing hitch.

4.1. Indledende samling

2. Attach the main frame to the base unit, ensuring all locking mechanisms click into place.
3. Verify that the wheel rails are securely fastened and can be adjusted as needed.

4.2. Attaching to the Towing Hitch

1. Ensure your vehicle's towing hitch is clean and free of debris.
2. Place the carrier onto the towing hitch ball.
3. Engage the quick-release lever or tightening mechanism to secure the carrier firmly to the hitch. Ensure there is no wobble.
4. Connect the electrical plug from the carrier to your vehicle's trailer socket for lights.

5. Betjeningsvejledning

5.1. Læsning af cykler

1. Place the first bicycle onto the inner rail, ensuring the wheels sit firmly in the wheel holders.
2. Secure the bicycle frame to the carrier's main support arm using the adjustable frame clamp. Spænd sikkert.
3. Fasten the wheels to the rails using the provided straps.
4. Repeat for the second bicycle on the outer rail.
5. For a third bicycle, use the optional extension (Item No. 11583), sold separately.

5.2. Folding Mechanism for Trunk Access

The carrier features a convenient folding mechanism, allowing you to tilt the carrier (even with bikes loaded) to access your vehicle's trunk.

1. Locate the folding lever or pedal at the base of the carrier.
2. Engage the lever/pedal to release the locking mechanism.
3. Carefully tilt the carrier downwards until it rests in the tilted position.
4. Open your vehicle's trunk.
5. Once finished, push the carrier back up until it locks securely in the upright position.

6. Vedligeholdelse

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your EUFAB Crow Plus Bicycle Carrier.
