1. Introduktion

The Teslong Digital Otoscope is a high-definition ear camera designed for inspecting the ear canal and aiding in earwax removal. It captures live video and still images at 1280x720 resolution, providing a clear view of the ear's internal conditions. Equipped with heat sinks and temperature control, the otoscope camera is designed to remain comfortable to the touch during use. This device is compatible with Android mobile devices, including iPhone 15 and iPad, connecting via a USB cable for a simple plug-and-play experience.

3. Opsætningsvejledning

Setting up your Teslong Digital Otoscope is a straightforward process. Follow these steps to get started:

1. Download appen: Locate and install the recommended application (e.g., "iUVC Pro" or "USEE-Camera") from your mobile device's app store (Google Play Store for Android, Apple App Store for iOS).
2. Tænd: Press and hold the POWER button on the otoscope's main unit for a few seconds until the indicator lights illuminate.
3. Tilslut enheden: Use the provided USB cable and adapter (USB-C or Micro-USB) to connect the otoscope to your mobile device. Ensure a secure connection.
4. Start Capturing: Open the installed application. The live feed from the otoscope camera should appear on your screen. You can now begin capturing HD quality images and videos.

Once set up, the Teslong Digital Otoscope allows for clear visualization and safe earwax removal. Always exercise caution and gentle movements when using the device.

4.1 Ear Examination

To examine the ear canal:

• Attach one of the protective specula to the tip of the otoscope. These specula are designed to prevent excessive insertion and reduce the risk of injury, especially when used on children.
• Gently insert the otoscope into the ear canal while observing the live feed on your mobile device.
• The otoscope has a fixed focal length of 1 inch (2.5 cm), providing optimal focus for the sharpest images at this distance.
• Adjust the otoscope's position slowly to view different areas of the ear canal and eardrum.
• Use the capture button on the device or within the app to take photos or record videos of your examination.

4.2 Earwax Removal

For safe earwax removal:

• Select an appropriate silicone ear pick from the included set. These picks are designed to be gentle and scratch-free.
• Attach the chosen ear pick to the otoscope.
• Using the live view on your mobile device, carefully guide the ear pick to gently dislodge and remove earwax. Always move slowly and avoid pushing wax deeper into the ear canal.
• If you experience any discomfort or resistance, stop immediately. Consult a medical professional if you are unsure or if earwax is impacted.

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and hygiene of your Teslong Digital Otoscope:

• Rengøring af linsen: After each use, gently wipe the otoscope lens with an alcohol prep pad or a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Ensure no residue remains.
• Cleaning Ear Picks and Specula: Wash the silicone ear picks and plastic specula with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly and allow them to air dry completely before storing.
• Opbevaring: Store the otoscope and all accessories in the provided portable case when not in use. This protects the device from dust, damage, and makes it easy to transport.
• Batteripleje: The otoscope features an ultra-long-lasting 1500mAh rechargeable battery. Recharge the device as needed. Avoid fully depleting the battery for extended periods to maintain its health.
