The app should automatically detect the new device via Bluetooth. If not, tap the "+" icon to add a device manually and select "Electrical Outlet" or "Smart Plug".
Confirm that the indicator light on the smart plug is blinking rapidly. If it's blinking slowly, press and hold the power button on the plug for about 5 seconds until it blinks rapidly.
