This manual provides detailed instructions for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your Cecotec Power Espresso 20 Professionale Espresso Machine. Please read this manual thoroughly before first use and keep it for future reference.

Opsætning
- Udpakning: Carefully remove all packaging materials. Keep packaging for future storage or transport.

- Vandtank: Remove the water tank from the back of the machine (refer to Figure 2 and 3). Fill it with fresh, cold water up to the MAX line. Do not exceed the MAX line. Reinsert the water tank securely.
- Første brug / Priming: Before brewing coffee or using the steam function for the first time, or if the machine has not been used for a long period, it needs to be primed.

- Place a large cup under the portafilter outlet.

- Once the indicator lights stop flashing and remain solid, press the coffee brewing button to dispense water. Let water run until the tank is almost empty. This purges air from the system.
- Repeat this process for the steam wand: place a cup under the steam wand, turn the steam knob to release steam until water comes out, then close the knob.
Betjeningsvejledning
Brygning af espresso
- Klargør portafilteret: Insert the desired filter (single or double shot) into the portafilter. Add ground coffee using the included measuring spoon and tamp it firmly with the tamper end. Ensure the coffee level is even.
- Fastgør portafilter: Align the portafilter with the group head on the machine and twist it firmly to the right until it is securely locked in place.
- Placer kopper: Place one or two espresso cups on the drip tray under the portafilter spouts. You can pre-warm your cups on the stainless steel cup warmer on top of the machine.
- Bryg kaffe: Ensure the machine is heated and the indicator lights are solid. Press the coffee brewing button. The machine will start dispensing espresso. Press the button again to stop the flow when your desired volume is reached.
- Fjern portafilter: After brewing, carefully remove the portafilter by twisting it to the left. Be cautious as it may be hot. Dispose of the used coffee grounds.

- Skummælk: Immerse the tip of the steam wand just below the surface of the milk. Open the steam knob. Move the pitcher up and down slightly to create foam. Once the milk reaches the desired temperature and consistency, close the steam knob.

- Ensure the machine is heated and the indicator lights are solid.

Vedligeholdelse og rengøring

- Alternatively, you can use a solution of white vinegar and water (1:2 ratio).
