3. Opsætning og installation

3.1 Batteriinstallation

1. Gently open the battery compartment cover on the back of the Onvis SMS2 sensor.

5. Vedligeholdelse

The Onvis SMS2 sensor uses two (2) AAA alkaline batteries. The estimated battery life is approximately 8760 hours (1 year). When the battery level is low, you will receive a notification in the Apple Home app.

  • Ensure the sensor is not placed near heat sources, direct sunlight, or in areas with high airflow that could affect readings.
  • Allow some time for the sensor to stabilize after placement.
• Difficulty pairing with HomeKit:
  • Ensure your iOS device is running iOS 17.4 or above.
  • Confirm you have a compatible HomeKit Thread Border Router.
  • Reset the sensor (refer to manufacturer's instructions for specific reset procedure, usually involves holding a button).
