Installationsvejledning

Step 1: Plan Your Installation Location

Identify the ideal locations for the upper and lower modules. The upper module should be behind your TV, and the lower module near an existing power outlet. Ensure there are no studs, pipes, or electrical wires in the path between the two desired hole locations. Use a stud finder to locate studs and mark them. The modules can be placed up to 5 feet apart.

Step 2: Cut the Holes

Attach the provided hole saw attachment to your electric drill. Carefully drill the first hole at your marked upper location. Repeat for the lower location. Ensure the holes are clean and free of debris.

Trin 3: Før kablerne

Feed the 6ft extension cord through the upper hole and down through the wall cavity to the lower hole. You may need to use a fish tape or a weighted string to guide the cord. Once the extension cord is routed, you can also feed your low-voltage cables (HDMI, Ethernet, etc.) through the same path.

Trin 4: Installer modulerne

Connect the female end of the 6ft extension cord to the upper power module. Insert the upper module into the top hole. The module features locking wings that secure it firmly to the drywall. Use the provided driver bit with your drill to tighten the screws, which will extend the wings and lock the module in place.

Repeat this process for the lower module, connecting the male end of the 6ft extension cord to it. Ensure both modules are flush with the wall surface and securely fastened.

Trin 5: Tilslut til strøm

Plug your TV's power cord into the upper power module. Plug the lower power module into a standard wall outlet. Your installation is now complete.

Operation

Once installed, the ECHOGEAR In-Wall Cable Management Kit operates as a pass-through system for your cables. Simply plug your TV's power cord into the upper module's integrated outlet and route your low-voltage cables (HDMI, optical, Ethernet, etc.) through the designated opening. The lower module connects to a standard wall outlet, providing power to the upper module.

To add or remove cables, gently feed them through the opening in the modules. The flexible design accommodates multiple cables, including up to four large braided HDMI cables.
