Maintenance and Part Replacement
Regular maintenance of your Roomba's components is crucial for optimal cleaning performance. The following sections detail how to replace the filters, edge-sweeping brushes, and multi-surface rubber brushes.
Replacing Multi-Surface Rubber Brushes
Open the Cleaning Head Module door: Push on the green tab located on the right side of the multi-surface brushes to open the module door.

Remove and Clean Brushes: Remove the old brushes from the robot. Ensure any hair and debris are thoroughly removed from the square and hex pegs of the multi-surface brushes.
Clear Debris and Insert Bearings: Clear any debris on and under the gray bearings. Insert the bearings onto the new multi-surface brushes.

Ensure Clear Vacuum Path and Install New Brushes: Verify that the vacuum path is clear of obstructions. Match the shape of the new multi-surface brushes' pegs with the corresponding shapes on the Cleaning Head Module and insert them securely.

Replacing Edge-Sweeping Brushes
The edge-sweeping brush is held in place by a screw. Use a small screwdriver to remove the screw, then remove the old brush. Align the new edge-sweeping brush and secure it with the screw. Ensure the brush spins freely after installation.
Replacing High-Efficiency Filters
To replace the filter, open the dust bin door on your Roomba. Remove the old filter by pulling it out. Insert a new high-efficiency filter into the designated slot, ensuring it is seated firmly. Close the dust bin door.
