Indledning
This manual provides essential instructions for the safe and efficient operation, setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your JACK Industrial Sewing Machine A3 UBT. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the machine to ensure proper function and longevity.

Opsætning
Careful assembly and initial setup are crucial for optimal performance.
1. Udpakning og komponentidentifikation
Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Verify that all parts are present according to the packing list. Components typically include the machine head, table, stand, motor, foot pedal, and thread stand.

2. Assembling the Stand and Table
Assemble the machine stand according to the provided hardware. Securely attach the tabletop to the stand. Ensure all bolts are tightened to prevent wobbling during operation.
3. Mounting the Machine Head
Carefully place the machine head into the designated opening on the tabletop. Ensure it is seated correctly and secured with any provided fasteners.

4. Installing the Foot Pedal and Motor
Connect the foot pedal linkage to the machine's mechanism under the table. Mount the motor (if separate) and connect it to the machine head and foot pedal as per the wiring diagram. Ensure all electrical connections are secure.

5. Strømtilslutning
Plug the machine's power cord into a suitable electrical outlet. Ensure the power supply matches the machine's requirements.
Betjeningsvejledning
Follow these steps for proper operation of your sewing machine.
1. Trådning af maskinen
- Øvre tråd: Place a spool of thread on the thread stand. Guide the thread through the tension discs and take-up lever, following the numbered path indicated on the machine. Thread the needle from front to back.
- Spoleopvikling: Place an empty bobbin on the bobbin winder spindle. Guide the thread from the spool through the bobbin tension guide and around the bobbin. Engage the winder and press the foot pedal to wind the bobbin.
- Spoleindsætning: Open the bobbin case cover. Insert the wound bobbin into the bobbin case, ensuring the thread feeds correctly. Close the bobbin case cover.

2. Nåleinstallation
Ensure the machine is off. Loosen the needle clamp screw, remove the old needle (if any), and insert a new needle with the flat side facing the back. Tighten the screw securely.
3. Justering af spænding
The thread tension dial controls the balance between the upper and bobbin threads. Adjust as needed to achieve a balanced stitch. A balanced stitch shows equal thread on both sides of the fabric.
4. Brug af kontrolpanelet
The JACK A3 UBT features an easy and smart panel for various settings. Refer to the on-screen indicators for stitch length, speed, and other functions. Use the buttons to navigate and select desired options.

5. Grundlæggende syning
Place fabric under the presser foot. Lower the presser foot. Gently press the foot pedal to start sewing. Control speed with pedal pressure. Guide the fabric smoothly without forcing it.

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and smooth operation of your machine.
1. Rensning
After each use, clean lint and dust from the bobbin area, feed dogs, and tension discs using a small brush. Periodically remove the needle plate for a more thorough cleaning of the feed dog area.
2. Smøring
Refer to the machine's lubrication points (usually marked with red dots or arrows). Apply a few drops of high-quality sewing machine oil to these points regularly, especially after extended use. Wipe off any excess oil.
3. Udskiftning af nåle
Replace needles frequently, especially when sewing different types of fabric or if the needle shows signs of bending or dullness. A dull needle can cause skipped stitches and fabric damage.
