This manual provides detailed instructions for the setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your Sound Town NESO-U4LL 200-Channel Rack Mountable Professional Adjustable UHF Wireless Microphone System. 3. Produktet er slutview

The Sound Town NESO-U4LL system consists of a main receiver unit, four bodypack transmitters, and four lavalier microphones. Each component is designed for optimal performance and ease of use.

3.1 Modtagerenhed

The rack-mountable receiver unit processes the audio signals from the bodypack transmitters. It features individual volume controls for each channel, frequency selection buttons, and an IR signal port for pairing.

3.2 Bodypack-sendere

Each bodypack transmitter connects to a lavalier microphone and sends the audio signal wirelessly to the receiver. They feature a display for channel and frequency information, and require AA batteries for operation.

3.3 Lavalier Microphones

The lavalier microphones are small, clip-on microphones designed for discreet placement on clothing, providing clear audio capture for speech and vocals.

4. Opsætningsvejledning

Follow these steps to set up your wireless microphone system:

1. Installer antenner: Screw the two included antennas onto the antenna ports located on the rear of the receiver unit. Ensure they are securely fastened and positioned vertically for optimal signal reception.
2. Strømtilslutning: Connect the provided power adapter to the DC 12-15V input on the rear of the receiver and plug it into a power outlet. Do not power on the unit yet.
3. Lydudgangsforbindelse:
   • For individual channel outputs, connect XLR cables from the "BALANCED A, B, C, D" outputs on the receiver to the corresponding inputs on your mixer or audio interface.
   • For a mixed output of all channels, use the 1/4" audio cable to connect the "MIX OUT UNBALANCED" port on the receiver to an input on your mixer, amplifier, or powered speaker.
4. Install Batteries in Bodypacks: Open the battery compartment on each bodypack transmitter and insert two AA batteries, observing the correct polarity. Close the compartment securely.
5. Connect Lavalier Microphones: Plug each lavalier microphone into the input jack on its respective bodypack transmitter.
6. Rackmontering (valgfrit): If rack mounting, attach the two 1U rackmount ears to the sides of the receiver unit using the provided screws.

5. Betjeningsvejledning

5.1 Powering On and Initial Check

1. Tænd modtager: Press the "POWER" button on the front panel of the receiver. The display screens for each channel should illuminate.
2. Power On Bodypack Transmitters: Press and hold the power button on each bodypack transmitter until its display illuminates.
3. Tjek batteriniveau: Observe the battery indicator on each bodypack transmitter's display. Replace batteries if the indicator is low.

5.2 Frequency Selection and Pairing

The system offers 200 selectable UHF frequencies to minimize interference. Follow these steps to change frequencies and pair transmitters with the receiver:

To Change the Frequency:

1. Press the "UP" or "DOWN" buttons on the receiver interface for the desired channel to select a new frequency.
2. Select the preferred frequency.
3. Proceed to pair the microphone with the receiver using the steps below.

To Pair Your Microphone to the Receiver:

1. Press the "SCAN/SYNC" button on the receiver for the channel you wish to pair.
2. Face the IR window of the bodypack transmitter towards the IR signal port on the receiver. The NESO-U4 Series IR port is located in the middle of the receiver's front panel.
3. The receiver display will show a signal bar moving, indicating successful pairing. The microphone's frequency will automatically change to match the receiver's selected frequency.

5.3 Justering af lydstyrke

Use the individual volume control knobs on the receiver's front panel to adjust the output level for each microphone channel. Start with a low volume and gradually increase it to avoid feedback or distortion.

5.4 Driftsområde

The system offers an operating range of up to 400 feet line-of-sight. Optimal performance is achieved when there are no obstructions between the transmitters and the receiver. Keep the receiver's antennas clear of metal objects and other electronic devices that may cause interference.

6. Vedligeholdelse

• Rensning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the receiver and transmitters. Avoid using liquid cleaners or solvents.
• Udskiftning af batteri: Replace AA batteries in the bodypack transmitters when the low battery indicator appears on their displays. Always use fresh alkaline batteries for best performance.
• Opbevaring: When not in use for extended periods, remove batteries from the bodypack transmitters and store the system in a cool, dry place.
