The MYPIN USB Cassette to MP3 Converter is a portable device designed to convert analog cassette tapes into digital MP3 files. This device allows you to preserve your old audio recordings without requiring a computer for the conversion process. It also functions as a standalone cassette player.

3. Opsætning
3.1 Strømforsyning
The device can be powered in two ways:
- USB Strøm: Connect the provided USB cable to the device's DC 5V port and to a USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter). USB power is generally more stable.
- Batteristrøm: Indsæt to (2) AA-batterier (medfølger ikke) i batterirummet.

3.2 Inserting a Cassette Tape
- Open the cassette compartment cover.
- Insert your cassette tape into the compartment.
- Luk dækslet forsvarligt.
3.3 Connecting a USB Flash Drive
To record or play MP3s, insert a USB flash drive (FAT or FAT32 format, up to 128GB) into the USB port on the side of the converter.

3.4 Tilslutning af hovedtelefoner eller eksterne højttalere
Plug the included earphones or your preferred 3.5mm audio device into the AUX jack for private listening or connecting to external speakers.

4.2 Afspilning af et kassettebånd
- Insert a cassette tape and connect earphones or speakers.
- Tryk på SPIL knap.
- Juster lydstyrken ved hjælp af VOL +/- knapper.
- Bruge F.FWD (Fast Forward), SPOLE TILBAGE, DIR (Change direction), and AUTO TILBAGE efter behov.
- Trykke STOP for at afslutte afspilningen.
4.3 Recording to MP3 (No PC Required)
This device allows direct conversion of cassette audio to MP3 files på et USB-flashdrev.

- Ensure a USB flash drive is inserted and the device is powered.
- Insert the cassette tape you wish to convert.
- Vælg optagetilstand:
- Manual Mode (Default): Each recording session creates one MP3 file.
- Automatisk tilstand: The converter will automatically detect pauses and save each song or segment as a separate MP3 file. To switch to Auto Mode, press and hold the "▸▸" button for 3-5 seconds until the LED turns blue. To switch back to Manual Mode, press and hold it until the LED turns green.
- Tryk på OPTAGE button. The LED indicator will flash (green for manual, blue for auto) to indicate recording is in progress.
- Tryk på OPTAGE knappen igen for at stoppe optagelsen.
- The recorded MP3 files will be saved in a folder named "TAPEMP3" on your USB flash drive.
4.4 Editing Recorded MP3 Files
After recording, you can insert the USB flash drive into a computer to edit the audio files using software like Audacity.

5. Vedligeholdelse
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your MYPIN USB Cassette to MP3 Converter, follow these general maintenance guidelines:
- Hold enheden ren og fri for støv. Brug en blød, tør klud til rengøring.
- Undgå at udsætte enheden for ekstreme temperaturer, fugt eller direkte sollys.
- When not in use for extended periods, remove the AA batteries to prevent leakage.
- Handle cassette tapes carefully to prevent damage, as worn tapes can affect recording quality.
6. Fejlfinding
6.1 Poor Audio Quality / Popping Sounds
- Check Cassette Condition: Very old, worn, or degraded cassette tapes may produce noise, hiss, or popping sounds during conversion. Ensure your tapes are in good condition.
- Strømkilde: If using batteries, ensure they are fresh. A stable USB power source is recommended for consistent performance.
- USB Drive Speed: A faster USB drive (4M-6M/S read rate) can improve performance and prevent recorded files from skipping.
- Lydredigering: Minor imperfections in recorded audio can sometimes be improved using audio editing software on a computer.
6.2 Enheden tændes ikke
- Tjek batterier: Ensure AA batteries are correctly inserted and not depleted.
- USB-forbindelse: Verify the USB power cable is securely connected to both the device and a working power source.
6.3 Optagelsesproblemer
- USB Drive Format: Ensure the USB flash drive is formatted to FAT or FAT32.
- USB Drive Capacity: Confirm the USB drive has sufficient free space.
- Optagetilstand: Double-check that you are in the desired recording mode (Manual or Auto) and the LED indicator is flashing correctly.
