1. Introduktion

This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your Warmall Electric Tile Radiant Floor Heating System. This system is designed to provide comfortable, even heat to your tiled floors, enhancing the comfort of your living space. It includes a durable heating cable and a programmable UDG-4999 thermostat for precise temperature control.

5.1 Pre-Installation Planning

• Layout Design: Plan the exact layout of the heating cable before installation. Ensure the cable does not cross itself and maintains consistent spacing. The cable cannot be cut or shortened.

5.2 Kabelinstallation

• Secure Cable Strips: Use the provided cable strips to fix the heating cable to the subfloor or uncoupling membrane. Standard spacing is 4 inches, but 3-inch or 5-inch spacing can be used depending on heating requirements and cable length.
• Kabelrute: Carefully route the heating cable according to your planned layout. Ensure the cable is not kinked, twisted, or damaged during this process.
• Kold bly: The heating cable has a cold lead (non-heating portion) that connects to the thermostat. Ensure this lead is properly routed to the thermostat's electrical box.

5.3 Sensorinstallation

• Floor Sensor Placement: Install one of the two floor sensors midway between two heating cable runs, ensuring it is centered within the heated area. The sensor should be placed in a conduit or sleeve to allow for future replacement if needed.
• Backup Sensor: The system includes a second floor sensor as a backup. It is recommended to install both sensors, routing the second one to the thermostat box but leaving it unconnected, for future use.

5.4 Electrical Connection and Testing

• Termostatledninger: Connect the heating cable's cold lead, floor sensor, and power supply to the UDG-4999 thermostat according to the wiring diagram provided with the thermostat. Ensure all connections are secure and comply with electrical codes.
• Installation Tester: Use the included installation tester to continuously monitor the heating cable's integrity during the entire installation process, including mortar application. The tester will alert you to any damage to the cable.

• Rensning: Keep the thermostat display and buttons clean using a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
