Opsætning

Follow these steps to set up your AT&T CL4940 telephone:

Installer batterier: Open the battery compartment on the underside of the phone base. Insert 4 AA batteries, observing the polarity markings (+ and -). These batteries provide backup power for the answering system and caller ID memory during power outages.
Tilslut håndsæt: Plug one end of the coiled handset cord into the jack on the side of the telephone base and the other end into the jack on the handset.
Tilslut telefonlinje: Plug one end of the telephone line cord into the TEL LINE jack on the back of the telephone base. Plug the other end into a telephone wall jack.

Betjeningsvejledning

Foretag og besvar opkald

Sådan foretager du et opkald: Løft røret eller tryk på HØJTTALER button. Wait for a dial tone, then dial the phone number.

The built-in speakerphone allows for hands-free conversations.

Digital telefonsvarer

Your phone includes a digital answering system to record messages when you are unavailable.

Opkalds-id funktioner

The phone stores information about incoming calls (requires subscription to Caller ID service from your telephone service provider).

Viewopkaldslog: Brug CID ▼ og DIR ▲ buttons to scroll through the caller ID log.

Directory / Speed Dial

Store up to 25 frequently called numbers for quick dialing.

Opretholdelse

Proper care ensures the longevity of your AT&T CL4940 telephone.

Undgå vand: Do not expose the telephone to water or excessive moisture. If it gets wet, disconnect it immediately and allow it to dry completely before reconnecting.

Fejlfinding

If you experience issues with your telephone, try these common solutions:

Answering system not recording messages.	Ensure the answering system is turned ON (check the ANSON/OFF knap). Check if the memory is full. Delete old messages to free up space. Verify the AA batteries are correctly installed and not depleted.
Difficulty with voicemail from service provider.	This phone has its own digital answering system. If you use your telephone service provider's voicemail, ensure the phone's answering system is turned SLUKKET to avoid conflicts. Contact your telephone service provider for specific instructions on accessing and managing their voicemail service.
