3. Opsætning

Follow these steps to set up your VTech CS6919-2 phone system.

3.1 Batteriinstallation og opladning

1. Installer batteriet: Open the battery compartment cover on the back of each handset. Connect the battery pack connector securely into the jack inside the compartment. Place the battery pack with the label "THIS SIDE UP" facing up. Close the battery compartment cover.
2. Charge the Handset: Place each handset face forward in its respective telephone base or charger. The CHARGE light on the handset will illuminate, indicating proper charging. Allow the handsets to charge for at least 16 hours before initial use. For optimal battery performance, keep the handsets in the charger when not in use.

3.2 Base Unit and Charger Connection

3. Connect the Telephone Base: Plug one end of the telephone line cord into the TEL LINE jack on the back of the telephone base. Plug the other end into a telephone wall jack.
4. Tilslut strømadapteren: Plug the small end of the power adapter into the POWER jack on the back of the telephone base. Plug the large end into a standard electrical outlet.
5. Tilslut opladeren: For the auxiliary handset, plug the small end of its power adapter into the POWER jack on the back of the charger. Plug the large end into a standard electrical outlet.

3.3 Vægmontering (valgfrit)

The telephone base can be mounted on a wall using the included wall mount bracket. Refer to the separate wall mount guide for detailed instructions.

4. Betjeningsvejledning

4.1 Grundlæggende opkaldsfunktioner

• Ringe: Trykke TALK / FLASH or HØJTTALER, then dial the phone number.
• Besvar et opkald: Når telefonen ringer, skal du trykke på TALK / FLASH or HØJTTALER.
• Afslut et opkald: Trykke FRA/ANNULLER eller sæt håndsættet tilbage i telefonbasen eller opladeren.
• Højttalertelefon: Tryk på under et opkald HØJTTALER to switch between handset and speakerphone mode.

4.2 Vis nummer

When you subscribe to Caller ID service, the caller's name and number will appear on the handset display. The phone stores information for the last 30 incoming calls.

• Review Caller ID Log: Trykke CID to scroll through the Caller ID log.
• Dial from Caller ID Log: Mens viewing an entry, press TALK / FLASH for at ringe op til nummeret.

4.3 Opkaldsblokering

The call block feature allows you to prevent calls from up to 20 specific numbers. This feature requires a Caller ID subscription.

• Add a Number to Call Block:
  1. Trykke MENU/VÆLG.
  2. Rul til Opkaldsblokering og tryk MENU/VÆLG.
  3. Rul til Tilføj ny post og tryk MENU/VÆLG.
  4. Enter the phone number you wish to block (up to 30 digits).
  5. Trykke MENU/VÆLG at gemme.
• Block an Incoming Call: Under et indgående opkald skal du trykke på OPKALDSBLOK (if available on your handset model) or follow the menu options to block the number.

4.4 Handset Registration/Deregistration

Your handsets are pre-registered to the telephone base. If you purchase additional handsets or need to re-register a handset, follow these steps:

• Deregister Handsets: This is sometimes necessary before registering new handsets or if experiencing issues.

• Register a Handset:

Clean the phone and charger with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Do not use cleaning sprays or liquid cleaners. Ensure the phone is unplugged from the wall outlet before cleaning.

5.2 Pleje af batterier

• Use only the supplied rechargeable Ni-MH battery pack.

• Do not open or mutilate the battery. Released electrolyte is corrosive and may cause burns or injury to the eyes or skin.
