4. Opsætning
4.1 Inserting a Lancet
- Unscrew the cap from the lancing device.

4.2 Adjusting Penetration Depth

5.1 Performing a Blood Sample (Fingerstick)
- Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and warm water, then dry them completely.
- Ensure a new lancet is inserted and the depth setting is appropriate for your skin type (refer to Section 4.2).
- Pull the cocking control back until it clicks. The device is now armed.

- Remove the standard cap and replace it with the clear AST cap.
- Select a suitable depth setting (AST generally requires a deeper setting due to thicker skin).
- Pull the cocking control back until it clicks.
- Press the clear AST cap firmly against the chosen alternative site (e.g., forearm or palm) and hold for a few seconds to create a vacuum.

5.3 Safely Disposing of a Used Lancet
