1. Introduktion

This user manual provides essential information for the proper use, inspection, maintenance, and storage of the SafeWaze FS126-E-DL Fall Protection Kit. 1. Inspect the Harness: Before each use, visually inspect the harness for cuts, fraying, broken stitches, heat damage, chemical damage, or any other signs of wear or damage. Check all buckles, D-rings, and adjusters for proper function and deformation.
2. Hold Harness by Dorsal D-Ring: Hold the harness by the dorsal D-ring (located on the back). Shake the harness to allow all straps to fall into place.
3. Don Shoulder Straps: Slip the shoulder straps over your shoulders, ensuring they are not twisted. The dorsal D-ring should be positioned between your shoulder blades.
4. Connect Leg Straps: Pull the leg straps between your legs and connect them to the appropriate buckles. Ensure the straps are not twisted.
5. Connect Chest Strap: Fasten the chest strap across your chest and adjust it to be approximately 6 inches below the top of your shoulders.
6. Juster stropper: Adjust all straps (shoulder, leg, chest) so that the harness fits snugly but allows for full range of motion. There should be no slack in the straps, but they should not be uncomfortably tight. Ensure excess webbing is secured.

5. Operating the Fall Protection System

1. Select Anchorage Point: Identify a suitable anchorage point that meets the strength requirements (5,000 lbs per worker or engineered system). The anchorage should be located directly above the work area whenever possible to minimize swing fall hazards.
2. Connect Lanyard: Connect one leg of the twin-leg lanyard to the dorsal D-ring of your harness. Connect the other leg(s) to the selected anchorage point. When moving, always maintain one leg connected to an anchorage point (100% tie-off).

7. Fejlfinding

• Harness feels uncomfortable or loose: Re-adjust all straps for a snug fit. Ensure no twists in the webbing. If discomfort persists, verify correct size or consult SafeWaze.
• Lanyard does not reach anchorage: Do not extend the lanyard with unauthorized means. Re-evaluate your work position or anchorage point.
• Equipment shows signs of wear/damage: Immediately remove from service. Do not attempt to repair. Contact SafeWaze for guidance on replacement.
• Difficulty with buckles/connectors: Ensure they are clean and free of debris. If they are stiff or malfunctioning, remove the equipment from service.
