2. Vigtige sikkerhedsoplysninger
Always adhere to the following safety precautions to prevent personal injury and damage to the instrument:
- Read this manual thoroughly before using the multimeter.

To prepare the multimeter for measurements:
- Sæt den sorte testledning i 'COM' (Common) indgangsstikket.
- Sæt den røde testledning i det relevante indgangsstik til din måling:
- 'VΩHz%CAP' for Voltage, Resistance, Frequency, Duty Cycle, and Capacitance measurements.
- '10A' for current measurements up to 10A (or 20A max for 30 seconds).
- 'µAmA' for microampere and milliamperestrømsmålinger.

5. Betjeningsvejledning
The IRONMETER features a large LCD with backlight for clear readings and a rotary dial for function selection.
5.1 Power On/Off and Auto Power Off
- To turn the meter ON, rotate the function dial from 'OFF' to any desired measurement function.
- To turn the meter OFF, rotate the function dial to the 'OFF' position.
- The meter features an Auto Power Off function to conserve battery life. It will automatically power off after a period of inactivity.
5.2 Målefunktioner
5.2.1 AC/DC Voltage Measurement (0.001 V to 600 V)
Set the rotary dial to the 'V~' (AC Voltage) eller 'V=' (DC-volumentage) position. Connect the test leads in parallel to the circuit or component under test. The display will show the voltage læsning.
5.2.2 AC/DC Current Measurement (0.1 µA to 10 A, 20 A max for 30 sec)
Set the rotary dial to the 'µAmA~', 'µAmA=', '10A~', or '10A=' position. Connect the test leads in series with the circuit. Ensure the correct input jack (µAmA or 10A) is used based on the expected current. The display will show the current reading.
5.2.3 Resistance Measurement (0.1 Ω to 40 MΩ)
Set the rotary dial to the 'Ω' position. Connect the test leads across the component to measure its resistance. Ensure the component is de-energized before measuring resistance.
5.2.4 Kontinuitets- og diodetest
Set the rotary dial to the 'Diode/Continuity' position. For continuity, connect the leads across the circuit; a low resistance will trigger an audible beep. For diode test, connect the leads across the diode; the display will show the forward voltage drop.
5.2.5 Frequency Measurement (up to 10 kHz)
Set the rotary dial to the 'Hz' position. Connect the test leads to the signal source. The display will show the frequency in Hertz.
5.2.6 Capacitance Measurement (0.01 nF to 4000 µF)
Set the rotary dial to the 'CAP' position. Connect the test leads across the capacitor. Ensure the capacitor is discharged before measurement. The display will show the capacitance in Farads.
5.3 Specialfunktioner
5.3.1 Datahold
Press the 'HOLD' button to freeze the current reading on the display. Press it again to release the hold function.
5.3.2 Max/Min funktion
Press the 'MAX/MIN' button to activate the maximum/minimum value recording. The meter will continuously record the highest and lowest readings. Press again to cycle between MAX, MIN, and current readings.
5.3.3 Driftscyklus
When in Frequency mode, the 'MODE' button may allow switching to Duty Cycle measurement, displaying the ratio of pulse width to period.
5.3.4 Baggrundsbelysning og lommelygte
The IRONMETER features a large LCD with backlight for improved visibility in low-light conditions. Press the backlight button (often integrated with the 'MODE' or a dedicated light button) to activate it. An integrated white LED flashlight is also available for illuminating the work area.

6. Vedligeholdelse
6.1 Udskiftning af batteri
When the low battery indicator appears on the display, replace the batteries as described in Section 4.1. Always use fresh AAA batteries.
7. Fejlfinding
If you encounter issues with your IRONMETER, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Intet display/måleren tænder ikke: Kontroller batteriinstallationen, og sørg for, at batterierne ikke er afladede. Udskift om nødvendigt.
- Forkerte aflæsninger: Verify that the correct function and range are selected. Ensure test leads are properly connected and not damaged. Check for proper circuit connection.
- 'OL' or 'OVER' Display: Indicates an overload or out-of-range measurement. Select a higher range or ensure the input is within the meter's specifications.
- Intermitterende læsninger: Check for loose connections at the test leads or within the circuit.
