Indledning

This manual provides detailed instructions for the safe and efficient operation of your PBD Pioneer CT-W530R Stereo Double Cassette Deck. Opsætning

1. Udpakning

Carefully remove the cassette deck from its packaging. Retain all packing materials for future transport or storage. Verify that all included accessories, such as AV cables, are present.

2. Placering

Connect the CT-W530R to your audio system using the supplied AV cables.

Betjeningsvejledning

1. Grundlæggende afspilning

1. Tryk på MAGT for at tænde enheden.
2. Open the cassette door for either Deck I or Deck II by pressing the UDSTØDE knap.
3. Insert a cassette tape with the open edge facing upwards. Close the cassette door.
4. Select the appropriate tape type (Normal, CrO2, Metal) using the TAPE TYPE SELECTOR if not automatically detected.

2. Optagelse

The CT-W530R supports recording on Deck II.

1. Insert a blank, recordable cassette into Deck II. Ensure the tape's erase-prevention tabs are intact.
2. Select the appropriate tape type for Deck II.
3. Indstil DOLBY NR switch to B, C, or OFF as desired. Dolby Noise Reduction helps reduce tape hiss during playback.
4. Juster REC NIVEAU og REC BALANCE controls to set the recording level. Monitor the level meters to avoid distortion (peaking into the red zone).
5. Tryk på for at starte optagelsen REC button (red button) and then the SPIL button simultaneously for Deck II.

Synchro Recording (Tape to Tape Copy)

This feature allows for easy duplication of tapes from Deck I to Deck II.

1. Insert the source tape into Deck I and a blank recordable tape into Deck II.
2. Ensure both decks are stopped.
3. Tryk på SYNCHRO COPY button. The unit will automatically start playback on Deck I and recording on Deck II.
4. Du kan vælge NORMAL SPEED or HØJ HASTIGHED for copying. High speed copying will duplicate the tape faster but may result in slightly lower quality.
5. The recording will stop automatically when the source tape ends or when you press STOP.

3. Hovedtelefonudgang

Connect standard stereo headphones to the TELEFON jack on the front panel for private listening. The headphone volume is typically controlled by the main volume of your connected amplifier, or by a dedicated headphone level control if present on the unit (refer to Figure 4 for control layout).

Opretholdelse

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your cassette deck.

• Hovedrensning: Clean the tape heads, capstans, and pinch rollers after every 10-20 hours of use, or if sound quality deteriorates. Use a cotton swab dampafsluttet med isopropylalkohol.
• Afmagnetisering: Demagnetize the tape heads periodically (e.g., every 50 hours of use) using a tape head demagnetizer to prevent magnetization buildup, which can degrade sound quality.
