To operate your Rev-A-Shelf RL-201-1 Cabinet Lock Assembly:

• To Open the Cabinet: Hold the magnetic key (RL-202-1, sold separately) against the exterior of the cabinet door or drawer, directly over the installed lock mechanism. The magnetic force will disengage the lock, allowing the cabinet to be opened.
• To Close and Secure: Simply close the cabinet door or drawer. The lock will automatically engage, securing the cabinet.
• To Disable the Lock (Temporary Unlocking): The RL-201-1 features a patented unlocking device. Locate the small lever or switch on the lock unit (often red, as seen in Figure 1). Move this lever to the 'unlocked' position. This will keep the lock disengaged, allowing the cabinet to be opened without the magnetic key. To re-engage the lock, return the lever to the 'locked' position.
