Opsætningsinstruktioner

1. Positioning the Reservoir: Place the 12.4-gallon reservoir in a stable location, ensuring it is elevated above the level of the plant pots. This allows gravity to facilitate water flow.
2. Installing the Reservoir Filter and Grommet: Insert the 3/8” top hat grommet into the pre-drilled hole at the bottom of the reservoir. Attach the 3/8” filter to the inside of the grommet.
3. Connecting the Main Pipe: Connect one end of the 13’ length of 3/8” pipe to the external side of the reservoir grommet.
4. Assembling the Distribution Network: Use the 3/8” cross connectors and tee connectors to create a distribution network from the main pipe to each of the four 1Pot XL trays. Ensure all connections are secure to prevent leaks.
5. Installing AQUAvalve5: Place one AQUAvalve5 into each 1Pot XL tray. Connect the 3/8” pipe from the distribution network to the inlet of each AQUAvalve5.
6. Preparing the Pots: Place a round Root Control Disc at the bottom of each 6.6-gallon pot. Fill the pots with your chosen growing medium (e.g., coco coir, perlite, soil mix).
7. Placing Pots in Trays: Position each filled pot into its respective 1Pot XL tray.
8. Initial Filling: Fill the reservoir with water and your preferred nutrient solution. Ensure the inline taps are open to allow water to flow into the trays.

Watering Cycle

The AutoPot system operates autonomously. The AQUAvalve5 controls the water flow to each tray. When the water level in the tray drops, the valve opens to replenish it. Once the desired level is reached, the valve closes, preventing overwatering. This cycle ensures plants receive water and nutrients on demand.

Nutrient Management

• Mixing Nutrients: Always mix your nutrient solution thoroughly in the reservoir before filling.
• pH-overvågning: Regularly check and adjust the pH of your nutrient solution in the reservoir to suit your plants' requirements.
