Opsætning
1. Indledende rengøring
Before first use, wash the pitcher, lid, and filter housing (excluding the filter itself) with mild soap and warm water. Rinse thoroughly. The pitcher is dishwasher safe for convenience.
2. Filter Preparation
Remove the new PUR filter from its packaging. Submerge the filter in cold water for 15 minutes to prepare it for use. This helps to remove any loose carbon dust and ensures optimal performance.
3. Filterinstallation
Insert the prepared filter into the filter housing. Twist the filter clockwise to secure it firmly into place. Ensure a snug fit to prevent unfiltered water from bypassing the filter.

4. Første brug
Fill the top reservoir with tap water. Allow the water to filter through completely. For the first two fillings, it is recommended to discard the filtered water to flush out any remaining carbon dust. After this, your pitcher is ready for regular use.

Filterindikator for liv
The lid features a filter life indicator. Press the button on the lid to check the filter status. A green light indicates the filter is OK, yellow means replace soon, and red means replace now. This indicator helps you know when it's time to change your filter for optimal performance.

The pitcher (excluding the filter) is dishwasher safe. For best results, wash regularly to prevent mineral buildup and maintain cleanliness.

Replace your PUR filter approximately every 2 months or after filtering 40 gallons of water, whichever comes first. Refer to the filter life indicator on the lid for guidance. To replace, remove the old filter, prepare a new one as per setup instructions, and install it securely.

After replacing the filter, press and hold the button on the filter life indicator for 3 seconds to reset it. The light should turn green, indicating a fresh filter cycle has begun.

- Langsom filtrering: If water filters slowly, try removing the filter and re-submerging it in water to dislodge any air bubbles. Ensure the filter is securely seated in the housing. Sometimes, air bubbles from the tap can get trapped; try filling a separate container first and then pouring that water into the pitcher's reservoir.
- Ubehagelig smag/lugt: Ensure the filter has been properly prepared and installed. If the taste persists, the filter may need to be replaced, especially if it's nearing the end of its 2-month or 40-gallon lifespan.
- Lågproblemer: If the lid feels wobbly or comes off easily, ensure it is properly aligned and snapped into place. Some users find that gluing the water filler lid closed can provide a more secure feel if not frequently used for direct faucet filling.
