3. Opsætning

3.1 Vægmontering

The key box is designed for secure wall mounting. Follow these steps for installation:

1. Select a suitable location on a solid wall.
2. Hold the key box against the wall at the desired height and mark the positions for the mounting holes. The back of the key box has pre-drilled holes.
3. Drill holes at the marked positions using an appropriate drill bit for the provided dowels.

3.2 Setting the Combination Lock

The key box comes with a default combination (usually 0-0-0). To set your personal 3-digit combination:

1. Open the key box using the current combination (factory default is 0-0-0).
2. Locate the reset lever or button on the inside edge of the lock mechanism. This is typically a small lever that needs to be moved from position A to B (or similar).
3. While the lever is in the reset position, set your desired 3-digit combination by rotating the dials.
4. Return the reset lever to its original position (A).
5. Close the key box and scramble the dials to lock it.
6. Test your new combination to ensure it opens the box correctly.

Important: Remember your new combination. There is no master key or override for the combination lock if the code is forgotten.

5. Vedligeholdelse
