Your Timex Expedition Grid Shock Watch comes with a pre-installed Lithium Metal battery. No initial charging or battery installation is required for immediate use.

Setting Time, Date, and Options

To set the time, date, and various options on your watch, follow these steps:

1. With time and date showing, press and hold SÆT.
2. The current time zone (1, 2, or 3) will flash. Press + or - to select the time zone to set, if desired.
3. Trykke NÆSTE. The hour will flash. Press + or - to change the hour (including AM/PM); hold the button to scan values.
4. Trykke NÆSTE. The minutes will flash. Press + or - for at ændre minutterne.
5. Trykke NÆSTE. The seconds will flash. Press + or - to set seconds to zero.
6. Trykke NÆSTE. The month will flash. Press + or - for at ændre måneden.

Available options include 12- or 24-hour time format, Month-Day or Day-Month date format, tone or vibration alert, hourly chime, beep for button presses, and customizable mode set (select "HIDE" for unwanted modes – they are removed from the mode sequence).
