1. Introduktion

3. Opsætning

3.1 Opladning af enhederne

Before first use, fully charge both the remote transmitter and the receiver collar for approximately 2 hours. Use the provided USB charging cable and power adapter. Both devices can be charged simultaneously.

3.2 Montering af kraven

Proper fit of the receiver collar is crucial for effective and safe operation. The collar should be snug enough to allow the contact points to touch the dog's skin, but not so tight as to restrict breathing or cause discomfort. You should be able to fit one finger snugly under the collar strap.

• Select the appropriate contact points (long or short) based on your dog's coat length.
• Attach the receiver to the adjustable nylon strap.
• Place the collar on your dog's neck, ensuring the contact points are centered beneath the neck.
• Adjust the strap for a snug fit. The collar is adjustable from 14 to 25 inches, suitable for small, medium, and large dogs.

4. Operating the Collar

The Petrainer PET998DRB1 offers three training modes: Beep, Vibration, and Static. Each mode has adjustable intensity levels (0-100) for vibration and static, allowing for customized training based on your dog's temperament and response.

4.1 Remote Transmitter Overview

The remote transmitter features buttons for each mode and intensity adjustment. Ensure the remote is within the 330-yard range for optimal communication with the receiver collar.

5. Training Tips and Usage Guidelines

• Start with the lowest intensity level and gradually increase it until your dog responds.
• Use the collar for short training sessions initially, typically 10-15 minutes.
• Always pair the correction with a verbal command.
• Reward positive behavior immediately after the desired action.
• Do not leave the collar on your dog for more than 12 hours a day.
• Regularly check your dog's skin for any signs of irritation from the contact points.

• Clean the receiver collar and contact points regularly with a damp klæde.
