4. Opsætning: Batteriinstallation
The MS8211D requires two 1.5V AAA batteries for operation. Batteries are not included in the package.
- Lift off the battery compartment cover.
Vigtig: Always ensure the multimeter is turned off before installing or replacing batteries. Remove batteries if the device will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.

5. Betjeningsvejledning
Before operation, ensure the test leads are properly connected and the function dial is set to the desired measurement mode.
- Connect the red test lead to the "V" input jack and the black test lead to the "COM" input jack.
- Læs bindtage value on the display. The unit will automatically select the appropriate range.

Figure 4: The multimeter in use, measuring the DC voltage of a 9V battery, displaying the reading on its screen.
5.2. AC/DC Current Measurement (mA~) / (mA=)
- Turn the rotary switch to the "mA~" (AC Current) or "mA=" (DC Current) position.
- Connect the red test lead to the "mA" input jack and the black test lead to the "COM" input jack.
- Forsigtighed: To measure current, the multimeter must be connected in series with the circuit. Ensure the circuit is de-energized before connecting the multimeter.
- Break the circuit and insert the multimeter in series.
- Genstart kredsløbet, og aflæs strømværdien på displayet.
5.3. Modstandsmåling (Ω)
- Turn the rotary switch to the "Ω" (Resistance) position.
- Connect the red test lead to the "V" input jack and the black test lead to the "COM" input jack.
- Ensure the circuit or component to be measured is de-energized.
- Touch the test probes across the component.
- Læs modstandsværdien på displayet.

Figure 5: The multimeter measuring the resistance of a small electronic component, showing the reading on the display.
5.4. Logic Level Test
This function allows for quick testing of digital logic levels.
- Turn the rotary switch to the "LOGIC" position.
- Connect the black test lead to the "COM" input jack. The red test lead is integrated into the pen tip.
- Touch the pen tip to the point on the circuit where the logic level is to be tested.
- The display will indicate:
- Højt niveau: Hvis voltage er >3.5V
- Lavt niveau: Hvis voltage er <3.5V
5.5. Diode Check (→|)
- Turn the rotary switch to the "→|" (Diode) position.
- Connect the red test lead to the "V" input jack and the black test lead to the "COM" input jack.
- Læs videre bindtage drop on the display. Reverse the probes to check for open circuit (OL) indication.
5.6. Continuity Test (•)))
- Turn the rotary switch to the "•)))" (Continuity) position.
- Connect the red test lead to the "V" input jack and the black test lead to the "COM" input jack.
- Touch the test probes to the two points of the circuit or component to be tested.
- If continuity exists (resistance below a certain threshold), the multimeter will emit an audible beep and display a low resistance value. An "OL" (Open Loop) indicates no continuity.
5.7. Data Hold (HOLD)
Press the "HOLD" button to freeze the current reading on the display. Press it again to release the hold and resume live measurements.
5.8. Maximum Value Hold (MAX H)
Press the "MAX H" button to activate the maximum value hold function. The multimeter will continuously monitor and display the highest value measured since the function was activated. Press it again to exit this mode.
5.9. Automatisk slukning
To conserve battery life, the MS8211D is equipped with an auto power-off feature. If no operation is performed for approximately 15 minutes, the multimeter will automatically shut down. To reactivate, turn the rotary switch to the "OFF" position and then back to the desired measurement function.
6. Vedligeholdelse
- Opbevaring: Store the device in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If storing for extended periods, remove the batteries to prevent leakage.
- Kalibrering: For professional use, periodic calibration by qualified personnel is recommended to ensure accuracy.
- Udskiftning af batteri: Replace batteries promptly when the low battery indicator appears on the display to ensure accurate readings and proper operation.
7. Fejlfinding
| Problem | Mulig årsag | Løsning |
|---|---|---|
| Intet display eller svagt display | Døde eller lave batterier; Forkert batteriinstallation. | Udskift batterierne; Kontroller batteripolariteten. |
| "OL" (Overbelastning) vises | Measurement range exceeded; Open circuit (for continuity/resistance). | Select a higher range (if manual ranging); Check circuit connection. |
