Opsætning
Follow these steps to set up your Kuchen-Chef thermometer for first use:
- Indsæt batterier: Open the battery compartments on both the receiver and transmitter units. Insert the 4 AAA batteries (2 in each unit) according to the polarity markings (+/-).
- Tilslut sonde: Plug the stainless steel temperature probe securely into the jack on the transmitter unit.

Grundlæggende betjening
- Placering: Insert the stainless steel probe into the thickest part of the meat, avoiding bone or gristle. Place the transmitter unit near the oven or grill, ensuring the cable is not pinched or exposed to direct flame. The receiver can be carried with you (up to 40m/130ft range).

- Meat Type Selection: Press the "MEAT / UP" button to cycle through different meat types (e.g., BEEF, PORK, CHICKEN, etc.).
- Doneness Level Selection: After selecting a meat type, press the "TASTE / DOWN" button to choose the desired doneness level (e.g., RARE, MEDIUM, WELL DONE). The target temperature will adjust automatically based on your selection.
- Custom Temperature Setting: If you prefer to set a specific target temperature manually, use the "MEAT / UP" and "TASTE / DOWN" buttons to adjust the target temperature directly after selecting a meat type.
- Overvågning: The receiver unit will display the current internal temperature of the meat and the set target temperature.
- Alarm funktion: Once the meat reaches the set target temperature, the receiver unit will sound an audible alarm. Press any button on the receiver to silence the alarm.

Opretholdelse
