3. Opsætning og montering
Before first use, the Hecht 1238 requires some assembly. Ensure the tool is disconnected from the power supply during assembly.

4. Betjeningsvejledning

4.1 Tjekliste før brug
- Ensure all fasteners are tight and the tool is fully assembled.
- Check the cutting blade/line head for damage or wear. Replace if necessary.
- Inspect the power cord for any cuts, fraying, or damage.
- Clear the work area of any debris, rocks, or objects that could be thrown by the cutting head.

4.2 Start og stop
- Connect the power cable to a suitable outdoor-rated extension cord, then to a grounded power outlet.
- Hold the brush cutter/trimmer firmly with both hands, maintaining a balanced stance.
- For at starte skal du trykke på sikkerhedslåseknappen (hvis den findes) og derefter klemme på udløserkontakten.
- For at stoppe, slip afbryderen.
4.3 Skæreteknikker
- For Grass Trimming (with line head): Use a sweeping motion, moving the cutting head from side to side. Keep the head slightly above the ground. The automatic line advance mechanism will feed new line as needed.
- For Brush Cutting (with 3-tooth blade): Approach the brush slowly and cut in small sections. Use a controlled, deliberate motion. Avoid hitting hard objects like rocks or metal.
- Maintain a safe distance from the cutting head and ensure the protective guard is always in place.
5. Vedligeholdelse
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your Hecht 1238. Always disconnect the tool from the power supply before performing any maintenance.
- Rensning: After each use, clean the tool thoroughly. Remove grass, dirt, and debris from the cutting head, guard, and motor housing. Use a damp klud; brug ikke opløsningsmidler.
