This manual provides detailed instructions for the proper setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your Brecknell LPS400 Portable Shipping Scale. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the scale to ensure accurate measurements and safe operation. The Brecknell LPS400 is designed for weighing packages and parcels up to 400 lbs (182 kg) with precision.

4. Opsætning
- Pak vægten ud: Fjern forsigtigt alle komponenter fra emballagen. Gem emballagen til senere opbevaring eller transport.
- Installer batterier: Open the battery compartment on the underside of the display unit. Insert the 4 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity. Close the compartment securely.
- Tilslut displayenhed: Plug the coiled cable from the weighing platform into the corresponding port on the remote display unit. Ensure a secure connection.
- Placer skalaen: Place the weighing platform on a firm, flat, and stable surface. Ensure there are no obstructions around the platform that could interfere with weighing. The remote display unit can be placed on a desk or mounted on a wall for convenience.
- Tænd: Tryk på ON/OFF button on the display unit. The display will illuminate and perform a self-test, then show "0.00" or "0.0" indicating it is ready for use.

5. Betjeningsvejledning
5.1. Tænd/sluk
- For at tænde vægten skal du trykke på ON/OFF knap.
- For at slukke vægten skal du trykke på og holde ON/OFF button for a few seconds until the display turns off. The scale also features an automatic shutdown function to conserve battery power.
5.2. Weighing an Item
- Ensure the scale is powered on and displays "0.00" or "0.0". If not, press the NUL knappen for at nulstille den.
- Carefully place the item to be weighed in the center of the weighing platform.
- Wait for the display to stabilize. The weight will be shown on the LCD screen.
- Remove the item from the platform. The display should return to zero.
5.3. Ændring af vægtenheder
The scale can display weight in pounds (lb), kilograms (kg), or pounds/ounces (lb/oz).
- Tryk på ENHEDER button to cycle through the available weight units. The selected unit will be indicated on the display.
5.4. Tarafunktion
Tarafunktionen giver dig mulighed for at trække vægten af en beholder fra, så kun indholdets nettovægt måles.
- Placer en tom beholder på vejeplatformen. Displayet viser dens vægt.
- Tryk på TARA button. The display will reset to "0.00" (or "0.0"), indicating the container's weight has been tared out.
- Place the items to be weighed into the container. The display will now show only the weight of the items.
- To clear the Tare, remove the container from the platform and press the TARA knappen igen.
5.5. Hold-funktion
The Hold function allows you to lock the displayed weight even after the item is removed from the platform.
- While an item is on the platform and the weight is stable, press the HOLDE button. The weight will be locked on the display.
- You can now remove the item, and the weight will remain displayed.
- To release the Hold function, press the HOLDE knappen igen.
6. Vedligeholdelse
6.1. Rensning
- Wipe the scale platform and display unit with a soft, damp klæde.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the finish or electronic components.
- Sørg for, at vægten er helt tør før opbevaring eller næste brug.
6.2. Udskiftning af batteri
- When the battery indicator appears on the display, replace the 4 AAA batteries promptly.
- Follow the instructions in Section 4.2 for battery installation.
