Indledning

The LeapFrog My Pal Scout is a customizable plush puppy designed to provide personalized learning and comfort for children aged 6 months to 3 years. Scout can learn your child's name and favorite things, offering interactive songs, activities, and lullabies. This manual provides instructions for setting up, operating, and maintaining your My Pal Scout.

Opsætning

Installation af batteri

1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of My Pal Scout.
2. Åbn rummet med en skruetrækker.
3. Insert 3 AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Batteries are included for demo purposes only; new batteries are recommended for regular use.
4. Luk batterirummet forsvarligt.

Første gang tændt

Press the power button located on one of Scout's paws to turn the toy on. Scout will greet you and prompt for personalization.

Personalisering

My Pal Scout can be personalized with your child's name and favorite things. An internet connection is required for this process.

1. Connect Scout to a computer, smartphone, or tablet using the provided USB cable (located in the back compartment).
2. Visit the LeapFrog Connect website or download the LeapFrog Connect app.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to enter your child's name, favorite food, favorite animal, and favorite color.
4. You can also select and download additional learning tunes and lullabies from an online list of 30 songs.
5. Once personalization is complete, safely disconnect Scout.

Betjeningsvejledning

Interactive Paws

Scout features four interactive paws, each with a unique function:

• Left Front Paw (Music Note Symbol): Press to play learning songs and melodies.
• Right Front Paw (Ball Symbol): Press for interactive activities that teach numbers, animals, and food.
• Left Rear Paw (Moon & Stars Symbol): Activates lullabies and the lullaby timer.
• Right Rear Paw (Power Symbol): Turns Scout on/off and controls volume.

Musik og melodier

Scout comes with 5 pre-loaded songs, 4 learning songs, and 3 playful melodies. Additional songs can be downloaded during the personalization process.

Lullaby Timer

To help your child transition to quiet time, press the Left Rear Paw (Moon & Stars Symbol) to activate lullabies. The lullaby timer can be set for 5, 10, or 15 minutes. Scout's collar will gently blink during lullabies.

Lydstyrkekontrol

Adjust the volume by pressing and holding the Right Rear Paw (Power Symbol) until the desired volume level is reached.

Pleje og vedligeholdelse

• Rensning: Surface wash only. Do not immerse in water. Use a damp cloth with mild soap to clean the surface, then air dry.
• Udskiftning af batteri: Replace batteries when sounds become faint or stop working. Refer to the "Battery Installation" section for instructions.
• Opbevaring: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use for extended periods.

Fejlfinding

• Ingen lyd/Intermitterende lyd: Check battery levels and replace if necessary. Ensure the volume is not set to the lowest level.
• Personalization Issues: Ensure Scout is properly connected to your device and you have a stable internet connection. Try restarting the LeapFrog Connect application or webwebsted.
